    More updates please.

I think your last update is solid. Keep it up. And keep in mind to push the values so that sketches will look more 3-dimensional. With pencil work, you can push darker values by using softer lead pencils. And here's a scale to help you: http://pastelpointersblog.artistsnet...alue-scale.jpg

If your values are close to middle gray (box 5), then you should use more values away from middle gray.

hey m8! long time no see bro. See you are working hard. alot of real life stuf which is great and freaking hard. The only crit I got for you know is for you to practice on the quality of your lines, they are often abit blurry and sometimes messy. Practice on making straight lines without a ruler. You are doing great. How are you otherwise m8?
    Cheers/ your friend PMB

PaintMyBrain you are Absolutely right about quality of lines , i will try to improve lines in future art pieces .

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this piece took 6 hours , its the first art piece entirely from my self and maybe i could say this is my first concept art piece . in the beginning i did some sketches on paper then scanned and worked on them with photoshop .
the concept was a black man who is spy and also a soldier , he is in jacket because its cold .

Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook. A couple of small critiques, in this post http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...&postcount=251, the last image the chair with the jacket on it, there should be jacket between the chairs structure, right now it's white and stands out so much. Also something that i think could benefit your work, try using the side of the pencil or maybe even some charcoal and concentrate on the tones not the lines. Keep it up.
