Good to see still working hard. There's no excuse for drawing veg or fruit from a photo, put one next to your computer to draw - I've done loads.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Keep pushing!! Your observation skills are getting better I can tell, just force yourself to be patient and "awake" when comparing your drawing and your subject.

    Hi Ramin,

Cool sketchbook you have here, I've noticed some DRASTIC improvement between the first page and the last update. I really like the vegetables. One thing for advice that I can give is really pay attention to light and dark. I notice that some of your drawings are all 'one shade'. Leave white where light leaves no color at all and darken shadows accordingly. Hope to see more soon. Cheers

Hey Hey! I saw your SB link so I decided to drop by. I gotta say very nice improvement already. Keep grinding out the life studies and read as much as you can. After you feel more confident and you know your realm of art terms start grinding some master copies (something I need to do myself). Keep posting excited to see more!!

So much improvement from the first page! You're doing great man, keep tackling those studies!
Be careful with the perspective though, try practice some more on it, it will help you tons!

Thanks for the comment in my sketchbook! Looks like you're working hard and studying a lot, good job! You're improving a ton. The last portraits you drew look really nice, there's so much detail! The proportions of some features can get off though. The first guy's hand looks too small, the second guy's hat is smaller than his head so it wouldn't fit, little stuff to watch out for when you're drawing. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook. I really admire your dedication. I basically agree with what dierat said about your sketchbook. Learning the structure is really important when drawing. If you don't understand structure well that it will be hard for you to paint the form as well. I think using some traditional media would be a good idea for you and it would be a nice change of pace. Keep working hard and be patient. Developing your skills takes time and practice. Keep up the hard work.

Hey raminafshari, I really like your studies plus I can see your improvement keep it up!!! On the other hand, when you paint you should start with a solid brush, if you use a tablet, use the pressure sensitivity so the harder you press the darker it becomes, then when your almost finished use a soft brush. Hope it helps!!

Good to see you drawing from life. The more you do, the better you become. Keep improving at this rate and you'll get where you want to be.

I like the live drawing sketches when you revive this thread! They reminds me when I just walking around the city, enjoying the atmosphere and observing the people with their own activity, sit and draw whatever interesting stuff I saw. Good 'ol days, your drawing made me want to do it again...

Keep continue the life drawing! At first it would looks hellishly messy, but unconsciously it will improve your skills!

Hey, thanks for the comment on my sketchbook!
You're doing all the right things, I'm glad you went back to pencil and started getting the basics down. Its much easier to work with a tablet/photoshop once you've practiced on paper first.
Your faces are definately better from your first page, keep up the great progress!

Still churning out the drawings I see, definitely uped your game on the value/shading on that last lot of portraits.

Bring out your crits, asspats, and assorted comments
    I got me a sketchbook...
Slow, yet hopefully steady, improvement. This way
