Totally beautiful sketches! More!
This is a 3 hourish study for a painting. It was done in conte.
Hello, here's some pretty old anatomy studies and some new pages in my sketchbook. Critiques are always welcome!!!!
A self portrait that kicked my ass!!! For some reason I felt that it would be a good idea to rush through the beginning stages of a drawing and go straight to the rendering!!! I spent several hours slaving over this monstrosity hunched over in my hot ass bathroom only to crumple it up and throw it into the firery hell where it belongs!!!
Here are some more anatomy studies, sketchbook pages and a figure drawing that kicked my ass - quite a few problems with it!!! I learned some stuff from it though
Good solid drawing.
Keep at it!
haha i remember how tiring the skull and skeleton draw are! RJO you have a talent.
I like women with oil paint.
Love the values! I'd like to see more of those color sketches!
I haven't really been able to fully commit myself to drawing and painting for the past couple of weeks due to a shit load of distractions and complications (moving, personal issues and crap like that.)
Thanks to all who commented!!!!
Kamber Park: Thank you, I will!!!!
loofami: thanks, I'm still working on the rest of the skeleton. SO MANY BONES!!!
MyioDeSopsia: Thank you, I gotta do some more!!!
Here are some pages from my sketchbook:
A self Portrait
Hey RJO, thanks for the SB drop by!
That SP came out really nice.
Keep it up
My most recent drawing, I gotta expand on my subject matter!!!
Kamber Parrk: No problem, I love your sketches!!! So fun to look at
Kikudo Onizuka: Thanks!
I love the portraits. You manage to get the shadows very well
Thanks for the nice comments!!!
Here's another head drawing. The features are all messed up! I took my sweet ass time blocking everything in, I tried to be cautious, but it's still all over the place!!!!! I gotta get a mirror or something... DAMN YOU FRUSTRATION!!!!
Daaaa'UMMmmm! hey bro. Love your shit man. drop by my page whenever you can. I'd love to have someone that wouldnt mind encouraging me along the way and holding me accountable.
Oooh. That's looking nice.
Don't really know what to crit, I stopped by because I thought it was interesting stuff. Personally, I'd like to see some more imagination in your work, as stuff working from at least a familiar reference seems solid but I'd be curious to see some stuff outside of that boundary.
At the same time, though, you got yourself here, I'm sure you'll continue pushing forward best you can. Good luck.
I like how your sketches are going. And the later ones seem to be a lot more sure and accurate.
Two Listen: I agree! I feel that I should expand on my subject matter, I draw too many heads.
Some memory drawings as well as some drawings from photos and...
I'm starting an anatomy wall! I figure that filling an entire wall up with anatomical studies will help me memorize them. I'm also gunna start some master copies of drawings and maybe some paintings!!! So Much to do, so little time!!!!!!!!!
