First sketchbook post..
so i'm going to be using this as a place to dump all my sketches and life studies, but i thought it might also be a good place to showcase all my half-finished paintings that i lost interest in for one reason or another. unless i have a deadline i am terrible at finishing my personal works, so while there are a few things here that i would love to see finished and polished, i just can't seem to find the motivation to do it! i thought perhaps if other people showed any interest in any of them, then it might spur me on to actually finish them! so, my first post consists of a whole bunch of stuff that has been sitting dormant on my hard drive...

great start mate!!!.I liked your chow and how far you pushed the rendering there.The same you could do in your next good drawings.I guess you just have to push the rendering more, because your drawing skills look great.
keep it up

Got here by way of ChoW. Good start! You're showing some strong use of color and form here. From what you have here and your Gaia sketches it seems like you have a good handle on the figure. Can't wait to see the life drawings!

@in2eternity - thanks so much. that means a lot, since colour is something i always feel like i struggle with!
@kingkostas - hey mate, thankyou, and you're totally right. i really need to focus on areas where i am particularly weak, like composition and perspective. conceptart has been awesome for this!
@FalyneVarger - thanks! i try to give my character unique personalities.. it's encouraging to know that i sometimes hit the mark .gif)
@Aresa - thankyou and i will .gif)
@staticpen - thanks mate! i've been watching your chows too.. your gaia piece is looking epic and amazing! it's a shame i haven't had time this week to finish mine..
but here are some of those life drawings you wanted to see! .gif)
soo... some life drawings... first a few digital sketches drawn in photoshop...

more life drawings...
here are my sketches from last monday's life drawing class. first class for me in some time, and i thoroughly enjoyed it! i must apologize profusely for the abysmal quality, i don't have a scanner here and i took these photographs inside at night. clever, i know.. but they get the point across i guess..
first page is all one-minuters, next two are fivers, followed by a ten-minuter and the last one i spent about an hour on and BLEURGH.. i realise now that her bellybutton is way too high up and it annoys me sufficiently..
