Heres some of the newer stuff I have worked on.
Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer
Creature from the black lagoon
I'll post some more stuff later on. I just wanted to get my best stuff up for now. Currently working on a Conan illustration.
Some of the process of recreating the creature from the black lagoon.
(The siege of Aquilonia)
Between the time the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. Hither came Conan destined to bare the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a trubbled brow. After escaping imprisonment, Conan along with his Aquilonian allies staged a revolt against the tyrannical King Numedides.

Hey good paintings i like the last one
Thulsa Doom from the Kull of Atlantis books. Descriptions were given by Robert E. Howard fans from Conan.com that said what Doom should look like. Note: Skeletor from Masters of the universe was based on Thulsa Doom. Below are three versions of Doom. I also added a Cthulhu reference on Thulsa's belt buckle because Robert E. Howard and H.P. Lovecraft were friends and sometimes referenced eachothers work. I wanted to convey this connection in this illustration. I wanted to also convey an essence of being so much older than Kull's time by connecting him with the great old ones to further his mysticism. Maybe that he was aware of those beings, just wanted to make Thulsa ancient.
Description 1: Her name was Saremes, and she had a slave who stood behind her, ready to do her bidding; a lanky man who kept the lower part of his face concealed by a thin veil which fell to his chest.
Description 2: And at that moment there was a noise at the chamber door, and guards entered, haling between them a tall, gaunt form, his face masked by a veil, his arms bound.
This is the true face of doom with eyes of fire!
Description: The face of the man was a bare white skull, in whose eye sockets flamed livid fire! Kull saw that it was so, for though the twain were alike in height and general shape, the flesh of the skull-faced wizard was like that of a man long dead.
This is Doom without the veil and flaming eyes. I kinda like this version. It leaves a little something to be desired.

Wanted to make a transformer.
Orc I made in ZBrush. My first time
really nice death dealer holmes. and I really like that Thulsa with the hood - the fabric is handled so well. I didn't know skeletor was based of off him - that's really good trivia. I knew there was a reason I liked MOTU.
Anvil of Crom is one of my favorite songs ever BTW.
COME SEE ME!
-= and this is where i have my blahblahblog=-
Thanks Krytical! I listen to the Conan soundtrack almost on a daily basis. It's my fuel to get lost in the zone. By the way I edited more on the trivia. Cheers!
My version of Radical Publishing's Jebidiah Crone from the comic book Abattoir. This is my submission for their online contest.

This illustration was inspired by the Thai version of the Indian Ramayana. By the ancient Siamese "Thais" it is called Ramakien. Hanuman is the monkey god. I wanted to take ancient concepts and illustrations and make my version as realistic as possible.
