I'd love to see some more super-saturated oranges in the wings of the dragon, I think you could still push it some
Also, your foreshortening on the first girls legs is a little off, we should be able to see more butt-cheek. Overall her legs feel out of proportion with her body (legs too small, body too big). The flare coming off of the reflective pool is also making a tangent with the shadows on her legs, flattening the illusion of foreshortening further.
gorgeous rendering and concepts, though! Your environments show the skill of a seasoned pro
Dude you are now officially on my: I want this on my wall, list! Great work.
We are remembered only by what we leave behind.
Absolutely cracking, good work fella.
Must admit when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was going to be shite, so pleased to be proved wrong.

James Dussqe- haha thanks man, and yea i know! our name is totally awesome!
stoph- ooOOoo thanks for the crits A lot of these are old enough that I don't think i'll be going back into them, at least until I get all my current work done but I appreciated the advice stoph!
Waipunga- !! awesome! I've still got a long way to go though, but thanks for the comment!
village idiot-lol i'm glad you were proven wrong too
Mah ' Crub- maybe its cause she's naked haha
Actually I am impressed! Your work is amazing, can I ask what exactly the person is looking at in the picture that is focused on the little robot looking a the person?
Great Work!!!! Keep it up.
Simple is not Easy.
Ohh, gorgeous! I absolutely love how you use light and colors to display mood. The elf picture especially just transports me to this beautiful place Great job!

Great work James! Your style is gorgeous, especially in the environments. Elf Girl is awesome too though the other girl looks off to me somehow. I think it is the fact that you can see her left butt-cheek which I would have thought should be hidden behind her shoulder. I could be wrong though! Outstanding stuff anyway man.

Beautiful artwork, very versatile and rich. Great colours and atmosphere on the environs, I especially like the industrial looking ones, 2nd one's perspective is fantastic!
Is that the little robot dude's spaceship in the boy's hand on the "In search for humans" picture? Lovely
AxFROWNYxFACE- thanks its actually supposed to be obscured and sort or mysterious but Jetlime got it
zimfin- thanks zimfin I appreciate that, and i've gotten that comment before on the girl, I think there is a small issue going on there but it would require more work than i'm willing to put into an old piece, I did tweek it a little bit though. anyway thanks for the crit
JetLime- you guessed it
thanks for the comments everyone! they are much appreciated
Here's another one:
the name of the thread pretty much sums up my interests!
great work, hopefully i can be as good one day if i practice
pretty tight stuff! cheers
very nice, i noticed maybe a few anatomy issues with the girl leaning over, but that may just be because it's an awkward angle. i just feel like her left calf muscle should disappear a little more behind her knee. as it is, it looks like her leg has a weird curve. also, her right hand and right foot seem to be floating, the foot looks like there's no weight on it.
that's really all i can critique, i LOVE that dragon at the top, and the one with the kid playing with the toy saucer in the backyard, glorious lighting. keep it up!
awesome art, Im sad everyone is using this attachment system, it means I cant save inspiration to my concept art folder anymore bad times

A thread made of pure win. Thanks for sharing these. Love em all.

The one with the guy, seemingly haunted by demons/beasts. Or is it real? Love that. So sad at the same time. Good stuff
These are fantastic. The one with the guy tormented by the beasts in his padded cell really knocked me down. Fantastic concept, rendering and composition. Really memorable and beautiful.
Great work overall!
I like your use of atmospheric color. The scale of your environments is breathtaking. Well done. Is it Photoshop and Painter together? OR just one or the other?

incredible work dude! I totally love this girl.http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...8&d=1278548497
it's a magic piece even her ankles seem a little to thick.
thanks for the inspiration!
