    AntiRiotVehicle

    IDW#130 Anti Riot Vehicle by ragtag

    This is the Anti Riot Vehicle of choice for the modern police departements.
    With its half-track design it frightens illegal protesters with its sheer look, not to mention the sound this beast makes. When it opens up its "mouth" even the hardest molotow-thrower runs like lightening. If he is not fast enough and the high-velocity batons manage to get a hold on him he gets the beating of his life, is in most cases rendered numb and will come to his senses in the holding-cell at the back of the vehicle, with dozens of criminals who share his fate. The holding cell is really remarkable as it normaly prevents criminals to use molotows because they would harm their own guys, and it can even be expanded by adding a trailer-cage.

    IDW#130 Anti Riot Vehicle

    AR 213

    Using speed and agility this anti riot vehicle is able to control large crowds with it's advanced targeting system and powerful gas propellants.

    Aaarg, couldn't get to a computer yesterday! Work meetings took over! I know the poll is up, but I thought I'd post anyway. It's not as finished as I'd like, Would've liked to stick a water cannon and some spotlights on, but thought I'd contribute.

    I voted for Ragtag. Good solid design work, with a fun people bashing system. Reminds me of a mine-sweeping tank.

    Beed01 - I really liked your design too. Nice to see a future take on it.

    interesting ones!!

    @ragtag
    i really really liked (and laughed a bit -in the GOOD WAY!!!-) with the automatic baton mechanism
    also i found your entry the most clear- "professional" one , in terms of industrial design. Your concept was my second favorite..!

    @drawec
    cool design , but... oh man, why no color?? I am sure with color it would look a lot more interesting..! Also why blades? The purpose of an antiriot vehicle is to send the crowds home, not in the emergencies

    @beed01
    my vote!
    fearsome , practical , excellent concept design!
    I am sure i wouldn't even dare to stand next to this even if it was unarmed! nice nice nice one!!

    @John
    I think you should work more with the connectivity of background and your vehicle. Also the vehicle looks like a solid piece while at the same time i cant feel its surface is from metal. Also the gun in the upper part well... i am sure it wont break crowds, but burn to ashes crowds hehe ;D
    Common man, i've seen a lot more descent works of yours in the past. try more , i know you can..! Probably you were kinda hurry to finish this..!

    @Tomercs

    Design was good but , for me at least , it doesn't reminds me anything of anti-riot vehicle. Probably only as a army something vehicle, a tank based maybe.

    I love Beed01's spider tank design, especially how literal he made it.

    I voted for ragtag's concept, it was so funny both the design and thought process hehe. Very clear description as well.
    The others I get the feel they are more of a solution for upgrading existing vehicles.
    Either way the rioters probably will not hang around for long.

    Tomerc: I like the shape of your vehicle the best. There are some perspective issues though and you missed the chance to put some "shine" on it. People dig the highlights! Other than that - good presentation. Nice silhouette of dude for scale (and even shows riot gear outfit).

    beed01: I dig the idea of an anti riot spider! You would have gotten my vote - but it wouldn't be fair, as I think you could have made it cooler.

    drawec: Best drawing, very solid. Not very original though, not much of a new twist or anything. I hope you agree.

    ragtag: "the high-velocity batons manage to get a hold on him he gets the beating of his life" haha, that's a great line. You get my vote! Not just for the line of course, but you also gave us a good idea of what the thing looks like and giving a bunch of havoc causing hooligans a little thrashing sounds acceptable.

    I've been watching this for a while and never posted, but such a great turn out made me have to post. Thank you to everyone who contributes for making some awesome art.

    bleed01: I love this concept. if that's as large as I think it is, I can imagine it crawling over crowds to the center and releasing the gas before they could even disperse. I love mechs, and this is one of the few times when legs would be worth the cost.
