  1. My Le Sketchbook - Mattieau St.Cyr

Hey, my name's Mattieau St.Cyr. Just turned 23

I'd like to be a concept artist one day. So i'm workin at it.
Started this sketchbook a long while back but i'm only starting to use it now.

You can check out my work here www.stcyrconcept.blogspot.com
    and my portfolio here www.mstcyr.carbonmade.com

Thanks and Crit is encouraged. I'd much rather have everything ripped apart and improve.

    Here goes.

    Matt.

  10. Larva

updating. Sketch for a local illustration group's creature of the week.

This larva's attack and defense are based on sound. By rapidly opening and closing the plates on its back, the larva produces powerful shock waves that are funneled through its cranial cavity. This results in a devastating pulse of sound powerful enough to roll a school bus. This chamber also serves as something of an ear canal, granting the ability of unmatched hearing.and making the larva nearly impossible to sneak up on.

Nice studies! Look sick! But upload them a little bigger. This size does them no justice as its a little hard to see them.
I was a little sad to see some of those other sketches from earlier were so small when there was so much goodness to see in the larger version.
