    I remember doing this as a kid, and a piece of the match sulphur sticking to my thumbnail and burning a crescent shaped hole through it.

    I recall setting paper-caps off with my thumbnail and the way after a while it really hurts underneath the nail but tastes of salty-gunpowdery goodness.
