As the title says, could someone suggest some programs that will run on my macbook, likewise the tablets?

Almost anything that can run on a PC can run on a Mac. Just make sure you get the software that is Mac specific.

I have the entire adobe suitet as well as some Autodesk apps as well as used a Wacom Bamboo, Intuos 3 and I4. I do know that 3DS Max does not work on a Mac though, other than that can't think of anything else.
