    IDW # 130: Anti-Riot Vehicle

    IDW # 130: Anti-Riot Vehicle

    Topic: Anti-Riot Vehicle

    Background:

Anti-Riot Vehicles are designed to control rioting crowds through non-lethal force tactics such at water cannons, foam cannons, net guns, tear gas, rubber bullets etc. Armored, heavy and slow, you do not want to get in its way! In peace time they often double as fire trucks if they are equipped with water or foam cannons. I can be from any era and in any style, it's up to you.

P.S. -They are also remarkably handy for destroying large mobs of zombies amongst other things.

    Inspiration and Info:

    Brief:
    1. Design and draw an Anti-Riot Vehicle.
    2. That's it... now draw!

Nice to see a wip twentyone! It's looking quite rough and tumble, but a bit more useful for zombie control than crowd control. Spiking a protester through with your grille tends to send the government's public image down the drain.

twentyone I'd suggest making the car a bit more armored. It's going to be for riot control first, zombie killing second. That being said, its a really fun image so far! Keep it up!

Ah! Hi eveyone. IDW is running again - Yay. Hi pixie Trick, and thanks to Yoitisi.

Sogbad - that looks mean! I kind of like no.4 on the thumbs, but the addition of graphics on the last profile look great. I might take a page out of your book if I can get any rendering done in time.

John - moody lighting, I like.

twentyone - funny scene! I like the action. Maybe the vehicle needs some harder and straighter highlights to show the bodywork.

Anyways, here's a quick starter. If I get a chance I'll try and block it in with fairly solid shapes and a big shadow to give it a bit of weight.
