Ludic: Hey thanks man! Even though I ended up abandoning that one, I totally agree with your critique.

ladyknowles: Thanks! I know this response is kind of late and you probably won`t read it, but as for brushes: the set I use is a mish-mash of bumskee`s, tiger1313`s, (both of whom are crazy good artists) and a couple of my own. Really though, I only use maybe 3-4 on a regular basis and one of those is just a tilted default-circle brush with some brush sensitivity.

As for Zbrush: it`s definitely a different beast than Maya or 3DS Max and the UI will seem kind of awkward if you`re coming from that background (or any background actually), but if you play around and just sculpt stuff you get used to it pretty quickly. (this is all assuming that you still haven`t tried it after 6+ months)

Alright so, I haven`t posted in while, but I don`t really have an excuse. I just fell out of the habit I guess. So this is me (hopefully) getting back into the habit.

Here are some sb pages, random PS doodlery, and a few more zbrush pics

Thanks & your updates are nice

I like the scale of the first piece & the creature looks really nice - if I would suggest anything on it it would be to make the body a bit more dynamic by slightly turning the torso towards the sacrifice.

    Hey guys!

So it's been a while since I last posted here (almost 3 years apparently? holy shit) but I figured I'd try starting up again. Not to give my life's story, but the final year of college going into full-time employment (plus everything else) has given me very little time/energy for personal stuff. I've still done some things in the meantime (mostly zbrush-ing over at polycount), but it's been pretty infrequent. It`s still busy for me right now, but I`m gonna try to work around that!

Anyways, here's a random collection of some more recent work (probably won't see too much/any improvement here over the rest of this sketchbook I'd think, I`ve gotten pretty rusty!):
