blue guy + studies:
Blog Thing: http://www.velda.me/
Twitter Thing: @velderia
I`m gonna try to update this thing every day, if possible. I`m hoping that it`ll motivate me to get up off my ass and get in the practice that I so sorely need.
In the meantime, here`s another (value) study I just did:
Here are some blurry photos of some crappy sketchbook pages (I really need to get a scanner):
These aren't crappy. You're good.
Interesting works and studies. Looking good to me, like the first concept. Keep forward!
thanks for the comments, guys!
here's a wip:
sketchbook page from today + wip from a little while ago that I kind of stalled on:
Woohoo! Colour study! I fucked up the face but whatever, I've spent way to long on this anyways.
pen scribblings + photoshop ... thing:
some little tests of some new brushes
nice sketchbook!Love the colorfull pics and post some more sketchbook pages cause ur pencils are sweet!Keep it up man
Cameli: Thanks a lot, man!
UsagiYokai: lol I'm glad you liked it. thanks for the comment!
Here are some more blurry sketchbook pages of assorted studies and doodles:
haven't posted in awhile so here's a big one (by my standards)
(its mostly pages from my sketchbook)
(sorry for the blurriness)
Have at ye, scoundrels!:
Swim. To. Reach. The. End!
If you hate awesome music I highly recommend you keep away from Astro Coast. The only way that album could get better would be if it grew breasts. C'mon Science! Get on it!
Alright. Now that everyone who's looking through my sketchbook has been forced to read my opinion on Surfer Blood, have some art*:
*Cloud girl + really old bull study
one bug, one alien, and one Jason Statham-looking motherfucker.
really like your sketchbook man, makes me want to do shizzle, like now, lol. but i cant
ima re-look tomorrow and then get on it.
To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.
u've got some pretty pretty cool stuff going on here
should stop by more often
nyje: Thanks for stopping by, man! Hope that shizzle you wanted to get done gets done. Boom.
MrWhiskey: Thanks! Your sketchbook has some cool stuff itself.
Alright, last update for tonight - a study!
Ok for some reason that last post didn't bump the thread so this one doesn't count.
Ah, love your exploration of color in all of these! The kids racing through the canyon on the bird creature has a wonderful vibrancy to it in both the color scheme and the sense of movement. The expression on the lead kid's face really sells the story.
Senira: Thanks, and uh yeah... I really should finish that one up.
Nice sketches, I love your ink/pencil work. Keep it up!
