    4 hours of pencil-stroking a day

My last sketchbook fell by the wayside as work slowly swallowed my time - curse you biochemistry - but I am now out of work, and planning on learning to draw. And that means I am going to do 4 hours of drawing a day for a month. The first day is going to be a "where I am" type of deal, where I just do a few quick faces from my head and then some quick figure studies so you can see where I am. I dwer for roughly 3-4 months continuously last year, then took a 6 month break (so a year overall if you count the break).

    As a note:

I will do one study suggested by somebody here a day, working through the studies suggested in order. I'm only doing pencils atm, so bear that in mind, but any serious suggestions will be done.

Unreffed stuff first. I like the last pic the most. She had curious pubic coiffage in the picture.

Nice start, promising thoughts, but i would suggest you don't get cot in your eagerness.
Baby steps are ok too, as long as you don't stop, you keep at it, you draw, n dreaw, n draw some more,
eventually it will become a necessity. You won't be able to wake up peacefully if you don't do a quick sketch.

But enough from that, and let's see some more updates!!

Values seem ok, but could be better, so try blocking them in more, work with planes.
Try doing some real life studies. Some still life, or drapery, anything with interesting highlights to get you going.

    Cheers

Here's the other thing I did today (it was a mission set for me by a friend). Tomorrow's mission: who knows.

I see a still life study suggested, so I'll give that a whirl.

Couple of bridgman studies. Did 3-4 pages of gestures as well, but they aren't really worth uploading. Going to do a lot more tomorrow.
