Hey guys, about a year ago I bought a DS and a CycloDS for the sole intention of being able to do digital painting on the go. It's been great so far- but as time goes on, that shiny new DSi starts taunting me, with a better screen, maybe better pressure sensitivity? (On my ds lite, the bottom screen is a little yellow, as all the later models seem to be, and the pressure sensitivity seems to be better in one area over anotehr)
So, have any of you managed to get Colors DS working on your DSi? If so, would you mind posting info on how you managed it?
Actually, neither the the DSi nor DS LL have pressure sensitivity, according to what I've read online. It's unclear why they took it out of the newer ones, though I'd guess it's the lack of games that use it.
The next release of Colors!DS will have the ability to compensate for uneven sensitivity.
The info thread for the next release can be found here:
They're pretty close to being done with it. As of June 10:

Thanks so much for your reply- it was exactly what I needed to know.
I'm sad that future versions of the ds don't have pressure sensitivity.. does this mean that years down the road, will have to look for old/used DS Lite's to continue our digital sketchbooking on the go?
