Virg: Thanks man! You flatter me greatly by visiting, your work is so good!

rusko-berger: thanks so much for the crits! I love gesture drawing, and I understand about the figure that is more of a "cadaver" haha. I'm trying to practice now with form in mind instead of just copying shapes, which I think is one of my greatest weaknesses.

    kidult: thanks!

    LastGen: thanks a lot!

LAL: thank you! I'll post more for sure

in2eternity: thanks a bunch...I hope to improve even more!

    Tigermilk: Thanks so much!

Sean McClain: I love life drawing! Thank you!

Dana_T: thanks, I like it too

SR-5: thanks bro, hope to see you around campus someday

    EBrown: thanks!

Jasper_: Thanks as always for the support man!

Here's just some figure studies from tonight, I'm trying to stop being so loose now and I'm trying to get my anatomy down. The next pic is an early stage WIP, I think it looks pretty cool so far so I decided to post it!

Nice figures man! Something about that hand in front of her body in your WIP bothers me, maybe it's because you haven't rendered it out yet, but its feeling a bit flat. Keep that in mind as you progress. Looking forward to some more updates over break man!

Jasper: Thanks man, yeah I didn't render it yet but I'll definitely keep that in mind

Here's some random sketches today that I'm overall not too happy with, I don't know, it was just a weird day I suppose :/

The portrait was done andrew-jones style by using the lasso and an airbrush (mostly). Thought this technique was pretty cool, and I thought the portrait came out pretty well, even though there's some proportion issues. Ah well!

    Thanks for looking!

    lolbbq: Thank you so much!

Hey all, here's today's sketches. I need to draw more though, I keep getting up and being distracted.

Posted are hand studies, knee studies (because I suck at drawing them), my warm up gestures, some figures from my head, and a still life, with a potato I just didn't want to render haha.

    Thanks for looking!

You make me realize how much I blow and who I'm going to be competing against if I decide I'm good enough in a year to go to an art school. Fantastic.

Jasper_: Haha thanks man! Thanksgiving around my house is kinda boring so I have nothing to do except draw!

    wi2rd: Much appreciated!

Deadlyhazard: Hey man, don't sweat competition just focus on your own goals and skills

    kingkostas: Thanks so much!!

Fetsch: Thanks so much! I love lines, more than anything haha.

    theUNKNOWNsketcher: Thanks!

    Eew: Thanks! And you're welcome

NickyBeats: Thanks so much man, I hope so!

Alright all, here's today's update. I focused on anatomy to the maxx!! First are my warm up gestures, then I tried Janaschi's and algenpfleger's multi-limbed figure method, they're really therepudic in a way!

Included is the good and the bad from today, but I'll keep getting better I know it! The torsos are mostly reffed but the faces, arms, and legs are mostly from imagination...I need to work more on torsos...

    Thanks for looking!

kischi: Thanks! I will be sure to keep em coming

    LAL: Thanks so much!

jeremygordon89: Thank you! I hope to progress even further

    Jonathan C: Thank you!

Kaikikuro: Thanks! Hope my info helped

sparth: Wow, you've completely honored me by commenting in my SB, you're such an inspiration in every sense of the word!

Alright all, I have some sketches to upload...wasn't as productive today because it's Thanksgiving here in the USA and I had some family parties to go to. The drawings were not as good as I thought they would be compared to yesterday's but I still studied a bunch and made some progress nonetheless!

As usual my warm-ups come first and then I have some short renderings from head and some more multi-limbs (some from head, some not), followed by a study of a cool drawing of muscles I came across...that really helped!

    Thanks for looking!

    Surion: Wow, thanks so much!

    Koh: haha thanks!

Alright, maybe it was just today, or maybe it was just the awesome Black Friday deals here, but today was a terrible drawing day for me. I had to fill up like 10 pages with warm up gestures to even manage to get something to an acceptable level...anybody else have days like that?? Ah well, here's today's practice, definitely not my best, but I tried.

I need to work on arms, feet, faces, and hair, I feel like those are my most lacking elements right now with the figure...so much to studyyyyy!!!!

    Thanks for looking!

That self portrait is looking pretty sick man. That eye on the left looks a little big but for some reason I think it's working. Dig the gestures and multi limb poses as well!
