Red face I hope this makes the cut...

if not I'll be visiting the WIP forums again. Hopefully I'll be posting another piece here soon. I have been searching for a place to get a good crit so feel free to let loose. Also if you have any tips for making your work look better in the post, please feel free to share. It seems that my colors always go to crap when I save for web.

    Nice organic feel. Looks traditional.

No crits needed Mate! Love it. Very happily live with that on the wall. Cool!

very cool creatures! love the style thats flowing with your piece. I think though your lil cat like character in front could use some separation from the man behind. right now it seems their all rendered on the same spatial plane, but clearly that character is in the foremost part of the picture. It wont take much, but maybe just kicking up the highlights and or saturation of that guy or pushing the tones around him and on the man down a bit darker in the shadow will all help get the contrast up and pop that guy out a tad. In any case, its a strong piece with fresh characters so you got a double thumbs up from me.

    Mah ' Crub- Thanks!

Patrick J. Jones- It did start out traditional...

    Waipunga- O.K. Will do.

Smokenmirrors- Thanks for the great crit! I like to let a piece lay for a while, before I go back and revamp it. That way I can have fresh eyes, but I'll try to separate it. it would be neat to make the depth of focus fairly shallow, and more on the middle character. I know essentially WHAT I have to do just not HOW to do it quite yet. Then again maybe I'm just lazy.
