    concepts for animated film project

    Hi all,
I'd like to show few concepts that I've made for project named 'Gdansk Wardrobe'. It's a project of animated film with 2D character animation and hand-painted backgrounds projected onto simple 3D models. The story is based on time travelling motive.

holy good god, this is splendid work... everything exists so well together.

we should be able to give you some constructive crits... but I have nothing, and I wonder what one could say about your work. besides "needs more cowbell".

Great lighting on the environment paints, they each have a nice 'mood' to them. Good skills.

Great lighting. Reminds me of the golden age Disney background artists.

2d art projected onto 3d models on 2d backgrounds? Sounds cool; I love 2d/3d composited animation.

These are great. I particularly like the 2nd and 3rd images. When will this project be finished so we can view it?

Really enjoying the first 3, awesome! Seems to be some perspective issues here and there, but other than that they are great.
