I will do alabapsi! cheers senend
lol that sounds so patronizing Naidy haha, altho I'm sure its not intended to be ;P. Yet I can't believe how long it took just to get to page 2... o_0 really shows my poor update rate ;_;
Hopefully that'l change... Hopefully heh.
Always nice to know another Zjunkie
Really I'd like to try him in a different light and not in the realistic way which has taken over now but I dare say I would be able to accomplish it right. ~_~
I've tried to get in on one of the community group things, lets see if my drive persists. So the first 3 are from that.
Also the first 5 are righty's and the last 4 are Lefty's
Notice the HUGE difference in messyness.

Woah, I didn't mean to sound patronising! xD
See, that's what happens when I don't write emotes after every line. Or maybe it's because I have 30 more pages than you. Don't worry, you'll probably catch up in half a year.
But anyways, nice batch of sketches you have there, infact, it makes me feel a little lazy.
Right, been looking hard trying to find something to crit... I like the variation of hairstyles though I think some of the girl faces look similar. It's a problem I have myself, or else I wouldn't have noticed. xD
Just keep pushing the boundaries. You might come out with some unexpectadly pleasant results.
Well that's my rambling session over with, I think you're going to be a pretty big presence on this site someday. Some brilliant stuff so far, just keep up the progress.

Heh I find it hard to consistently draw the same face more than once, yet lack uniqueness among them >_<
I would be surprised that I could make you feel lazy?! you update wayyy more than I do lol.
I can really struggle to find a middle ground sometimes; digital versus sketchbook, its like one or the other especially when 3d comes into it.
I'm pretty doubtful atm lol.. But one can hope we both will be.
Thanks tho Naidy, ramble whenever you want.
I've finally made an Influence Map!! It actually takes alot more effort than I expected. But I'm certainly glad I did it, Hopefully there'l be some better stuff here now I've got this to slap me in the face > : D
Speaking of which, I love Vyse's face in that scene, favourite expression in the whole game XD I just burst out laughing when ever he uses it. Altho I suppose you'd have to be a fan to find it amusing.

I used to do regular self portraits and it's a habit I want to get back into, when I first started out using my left hand they really helped me progress. I had a lefty go this evening but it's been so long I'm pretty awful at it, I've spent so long trying to get the eyes right and tbh can you blame me, I wanted to draw them looking down but obvious it's hard to see what they look like lol.
I 'puppet warped' the expression to be all sad from failure heh.
aww well the next one will be better, Should have just drawn the eyes normal >_>

Got ma squiggle on, just drawing what ever comes to mind from scribbling. doods legs top right are too short from an otherwise nice figure.
February 23rd, 2011 #39
Some quick squiggles inbetween stuff.

Hey it's Generic Fred... Altho tbh most male leads in games today are so characteristically average he could easily jump from npc to protagonist
It's so weird doing some one deliberately regular... I can see how ott some of the features on my previous sculpts have been. >_<
Sort of looks like he's pouting.. "puh, I don't wanna be generic. T3T" lol.
Got a femme in the works atm.

Tryna up my game, practicing skin details.
Edit: Added a pic with some tweaks I think he'l need.

SUPUH Thanks guys!
I've done colour studies?! lol yeah I'm slowly building up some pencil work to upload soon.
I textured one of those sculpts, the eyes didn't come out too well any advice? I think the eyes visible ball area is too much.

Aight, I've got some sketches but I'll wait till I've got some natural light to photo em. Just making an excuse to post now, poor neglected SB. All this 3d eats into 2d.
I feel rusty with this quick girl head.. Lol it was so quick I was too lazy to add hair. I WILL ADD HAIR next time.
I finally looked up this Pepper person that's appearing everywhere. It's actually a pretty cool idea the Pepper Project. I like it when people bounce artwork around
Altho some of the designs are looking like instead of wearing earphones shes wearing metal head nipples. XD

A mix of left n right, you tell by the pen pressure increase with my right.
The sorceress came out green lol ?_? cool tho.

Any fashionistas in the house? Here's a paintover of a girl sculpt I'm doing atm.
Altho a feminine dress sense would be useful rite now I'm glad to be a dude, I don't need to put this much effort into my clothes; jeans & shirt > clean = job done.
Does it go all together is my question here?
My thinking was the shoes match the jacket and shirt. The colours are all similar. N necklace for a small piece of contrasting colour?
Varied selection of materials, leather jacket with fur rims, loose cotton shirt, leather belt, denim, shoes with linen & leather. Shiny glassnecklace, can't decide on the hat's material tho.

Decided to go for a mix, and the better silhouette. Gave her a gun aswell, naturally.
March 16th, 2011 #53
The textures on post 48 had me staring for ages. AGES. Oh the wonders of technology. What I'd like to see now is you rendering skin texture like that in your left handed pencil sketches.
Ah I kid, I kid.
Anyways, some good stuff as usual. Though I have to say I prefered the girl in the last post with a hat, or maybe even leave off the hat/bow. But that's just my opinion. The rest of the outfit looks pretty cool!
So, keep up the good work mate.
March 16th, 2011 #54
T3T.... lol thanks...
Heh well your the only person to like the hat so far, everyone elses immediate reaction was "euhk!? get rid of the hat!"
There's a polycount comp on atm where you redesign any character from a fighting game, while trying to choose a serious character I thought "I doubt anyones gonna do pikachu" and had a muck about with it. I've still got to choose a real character yet tho.
He'd walk around saying "BEEF BEEF" ...and hilarity ensues.

Beef beef a chu chu
I'm loving the range you have.
The studies and sketches are awesome so full of information. Your proportions even when exaggerated work really well for me. I'd like to seem some more rendered works from you as well.
