I love your your style! I always admire people who can do such fierce straight lines.

This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville

Very cool. Reminds me a little of Samurai Jack but with softer edges. One of my favorite styles. Little Red is pretty good, I like how you worked the color into her outline so it still reads as being there, but isn't just a heavy black line. Very nice work.

Two compositions, one with a crazy detached floaty head.

Loving your sketchbook! 32-36 are amazing. I really like the subtle color tonality to them, that desaturated feel to it.

Keep up the good work. How often do you draw and paint?

For a long time, I was almost never drawing. I'm falling in love with it all over again, I'm trying to draw a few times a week, whenever work isn't getting in the way.

Within the next year, I want to start a comic of some sort. In order to facilitate that goal, I need to develop my inking skills and whatnot.

So I inked this alien guy from a previous sketch, more to come.

dig it. As far as eye spacing on the burka eye study, if you use one of the eyes as a measurement for the space between eyes it usually gives you a good starting point from which to bend the rule.

Also something to consider, generally the value transitions on figures/faces are fairly soft, with the exception of a plane that turns quickly (nostrils, etc.). Might be worth experimenting with a softer brush.

Dig the sb, man. Keep it up.
