    MegaMan Redesign

I wanted to try my hand at redesigning MegaMan as a live action character. I had designed some suits before for something unrelated, but a friend mentioned that it looked like MegaMan. With a few tweaks I decided to render him up and this is what I got. Afterwards it inspired me to redesign his robodog Rush. Let me know what you think.

I really like the dog, but Megaman looks pretty stiff. Ok he's a robot, but compared to the dog he is a cola can ^^
He would not be able to pick something up f.e. because he cant bend his chest.

The dog has a lot axis and joint points, try that on MM too.

Looks cool. Megaman was my favourite thing to draw as a kid. Megaman 9 was insanely hard though. (Or maybe I'm just getting old).

I think you could stick to lighting conditions a bit more. Highlights and the higher values suggest strong directional light, but almost none of that direction can be seen in your mids and darks.

The dog (name? I have the memory of a fish. I read Rush up there somewhere.) takes the cake. Really sweet design and new attitude for him.

    Is he still a trampoline?

You might find this interesting. I re-did Proto Man a month or so ago with somewhat the same intentions... only I couldn't really show his face . I don't want to post images on your thread, but if you're interested:

Are you thinking of doing any other characters?

Rush looks pretty badass, but Mega lacks any real torso articulation.
