Those are my hands and feet! Self portraits for sure.

Haven t posted in a while! I've been super busy with work =) I need to save money for Europe so I am welcoming my new managers lack of organization and letting him schedule me overtime. I kind of get all sad because I can't draw as much at home, but I am still drawing people at work and will post them when I get enough good ones =D For now, here is something I did a while ago and just looked at it again recently. And I kind of like it.

Also! I am preparing for a little show called art in the park in Ottawa's strathcona park on August 7th =D Im going to do peoples portraits in colour pastel all day. It is going to be soooo much fun.

Awesome stuff, your figure drawing and tonal drawings are exceptionally good, you have such strong and active lines. It gives a pleasing life to the figures.

You've got a great sense of form. Texture and weight qualities are pretty impressive too, like what you've done in the hair in the first two drawings, the guy's blue hair, hanging lip, texture in mustache, weight of head in hand. Twist of head and torso is really great in your self portrait, the distortion in your near eye is very effective, I'm feeling how you articulated the headband on the corner of your head, smart use of speculars. Pretty good use of texture on those flowers, do you have allergies? Great tactile quality in the grape head lady, plastic like leaves, squishy grapes, good decorative use of head. Great use of 2 and 3D space in your life drawings of your hands and feet, compression and rubbing gesture in those feet is well done.
