That's really great, bet it took a while, worth it completely. The only problem I have with it is that the figures look a bit squat and compressed, but perhaps you meant them to be that way? Regardless, I really like it a lot.

This is really good. I love your use of colors, especially the pinks and blues, and the mini moat around the Great Fish is a nice detail too.

    have a nice day!

    Thanks guys!

Max - yeah, I can see that.... I tend to gravitate towards that flat storyboard look, but I could see making those guys have a little more depth to them for sure.....

    Thanks again!

Another cool one from the mutton I Love your style. It reminds me a bit of a Norwegian artist and illustrator. He illustrated a book called "Ruffen" wicth my mom read to me everytime I was down at the health station to breath astma meds when I was a kid. I've always loved those illustrations, and they was one of my ealiest experiences with art. And I get kind of the same feeling from your works

Dozeren - Thanks! I am flattered that my work brings you those memories! Yeah, I really like the 70's / 80's fantasy and storybook stuff.... especially old Heavy Metal stuff... like Moebius. I believe the artist you are thinking of is Thore Hansen... I looked him up... cool stuff, indeed.

    tjh - Thank you!

Hellcow - Thanks so much! Not that big... probably about 10 x 16 ish

    SmokenMirrors - Thank you!!!!

Holy crap giant fish head. Damn, I love it. Your line work is beautiful, and you have a way of using color to match. Brilliant illustration.

Just checked out your website, I especially enjoy the narratives you create with your illustraitions. What mediums is this?

Maximilian - I will see what I can do. It's not a half bad idea!

FaceFace - Thank you! I am afraid the master is Ian Miller, but I like to think I study at his school.

Joachim - Thanks! Your work is superb! Yeah, I do tend to gravitate towards the bizarre... but it's a fun place to live!

    xinranliu - Thank you!

Fellah - I thank you, good sir, but I am afraid that you TOO are awesome! Love your drawings!

GeneticFailure - Many thanks to you!

Walnut - INVASIVELY!!!?? Does this mean my piece has invaded your senses? Does it haunt your dreams?! Muhuhuhaahahaha!!!! My work is DONE! Thanks man!

Ikage - Thanks a bunch, I apreciate that! Your animated icon scares the shit out of me.. like, now I will have nightmares, as well as Walnut.

Mancub -Thank you... This piece is in watercolo and en and ink. I have been trying to do more natural media lately. A bulk of my finished color work is digital though, and most of my pieces start as pencil drawings. I am glad you like the narratives... I like telling different stories with my personal work than what you would typically find in fantasy art....

Yup Mutton. I was thinking of Tore Hansen. DOnt know why I didnt write his name though... hm. Moebius is my fav comic artist. I love the way he gets the most complex scenes with just some simple lines. And what a imagiation
Looking forward to seeing more from you dude

Lovely, lovely piece. I think if I started something like this, about twenty minutes in, there would be at least one spot of watercolour dripped accidentally somewhere it was not meant to be. Beautiful!

Thanks PLantman, Zimfin, Victor Hogan, Max Martelli, Pixie Trick and Ninjacat11!

Dozeren - Thanks for introducing me to Tore's work... I love finding new and obscure artists that are masters of linework.... though it doesn't bode well for me that all the masters of linework tend to live in obscurity! Haha! Oh well, it's for the love of doing it, right?

BTW, here is the original sketch from my sketchbook:
