Lol, that was me Forrest. I was only joking. In all seriousness, you've improved quite a bit. Also, I noticed that those studies really helped your character designs: however, they seem pretty stiff. I've heard somewhere that incorporating just studies can really help. So try some.

I'm amazed, there seems to be a lot of talented young people around CA, it's scary.

In your DA account you say you're training to be concept artist at Blizzard Entertainment. I'm pretty confident you can do it, you're already doing amazing, you just have to keep studying and practicing, to make an awesome style.

you really are improving, seriously, and the thing i saw that improved most is the rendering, keep them coming man, don't get lazy like most of us do

ryanoir thanks man, and I love using dynamic poses too much to not do it (though my poses are pretty stiff)

darksoulzero Yeah, I've been trying to work on the stiffness of my characters. I guess I'll try what you said.

DHTenshi thanks man, but laziness is my biggest weakness (2nd is MMO's )

So, I've done just about no drawing whatsoever since my last post. Laziness has definitely gotten to me, and it doesn't help being addicted to MMO's either. However, I do like to play MMO's to see the art styles in the games, too.

This spring I've been considering doing a TAD part time class, I know I have the money for it, but I'm still not sure which class to take. I'm torn between Figure 1, Color Theory, and Digital Painting. I'd love feedback from someone who knows firsthand about these classes.

Also, I've been looking in to animation recently. Making cartoons has been an idea for me and my friends for the longest time. Since last year even, we've been writing down ideas for different cartoons. So, I decided to grab me the demo of Toon Boom Animate and I'm now watching tutorials on how to use it

Anyway, here's what I've got for the past 4 days...

nice studies in here. You are definitely improving and I would really suggest doing a TAD class if you have the cash for one! I have never been but have heard that the "sketchbook" class is pretty much the best one for a total beginner as it teaches you how to make the most out of the most important tool for any artist: your own little book that goes everywhere with you.

Have fun in cali and merry christmas

    Gonna enter the COW 200

This is what I've got for the air and land creature. I'm gonna try and enter all of them.

Here's a rough of what my concept is. Now would be a good time for any sort of critique please

    Parsakoira Thank you

Here's what I hae so far for the environment. I don't want the creature to stand out too much from it, but I think it will from the lighting on its skin :/

    Crits?

And I also decided to redo the air creature. I like this one much much much more

Not been doin much drawing these past couple days. I've been tryin to catch
up on school work, and it doesn't help much that finals are 2 weeks away.
    Eh, enough complaining.

Damn right! I got 1st place and got to watch the cage fights that night for free. So, obviously I haven't been drawing much, but I decided that I'd take most my break on drawing faces from imagination. I think I'm getting better at them too, now I just need to give each face their own personality

    Here's the fights:

hey, some nice rendering. but i don't see much in terms of life drawings. also, remember to apply your anatomy to your imaginative drawings. try to take your studies a little more seriously and focus rather than being sporadic.

Peroro I use mainly George Bridgeman books and I also go to here for poses

Catish Thanks, I see what you mean, but sometimes my studies just get so scattered and Idk what exactly to work on :/

So I've been busy with finals this past couple days and when I had time to draw I would work on my art final. I ended up finishing it at school this morning before it was due, but I took some pics of it before I was totally done with it. It's supposed to be a bus that's filled with what inspires us. So naturally I just drew random stuff on it. enjoy.
