Haven't done much drawing lately, I kinda got back in to writing after a long break from that. But, I got a fortune cookie today that read:

"More art in your life at this time will help you feel better."

And no one can deny a fortune, so time to draw

So, I've decided I suck at faces and am gonna start practicing faces for awhile. I'd love some tips on faces, if someone would like to share some that'd be much appreciated.

Silwynar thanks, I do need to start doing some digital life drawings.

Here's another portrait, this one I think is better then the last one (I hate the last one).

good portraits. try mixing in hard and soft brushes to nail the likeness. also try fliping the canvas horizontally once in a while during your process.

Jonathan C Thanks, I'll try that

So, haven't been doin much drawin lately, I've been catching up on my school work. But I've managed to draw a bit. First one is a life study of a hackysack and the second is a crappy portrait I'm working on.

I really need help on this portrait. The women is supposed to be young, like early 20's, but she looks to old in this and doesn't look much like her either. Also, I'm at a loss with how to draw her hair...

Puffynose I kinda like Hogarth, but I've gone through that book twice now so I do Bridgeman studies now instead. I've never tried Vilppu, might look into it.

Here's some Bridgeman studies. Hopefully I'll be able to finish up a digital life drawing by the end of the day.

So, I started drawing a lizard guy and I'm liking how it's turning out so far. I plan on redoing the anatomy of the right arm cuz it's too short, also I'm going to darken the greens and saturate it a bit. And now that I'm looking at it I'm realizing the light source is messed up too. But anyway here's a WIP:
