mehran Thanks mate, I actually only started using references while drawing my stuff pretty recently, but I know what you mean, the referenced stuff turns out better, I just need to try and apply references better I think

    Thanks Alex

Not much for today, I finished a traditional painting of Aquaman and Namor the Submariner so hopefully if I can get a nice professional pic of that I'll put it up here.

Nice updates, I really dig the way you incorporated lighting in you last two posts. With that said, I think it would be a good idea to fall back a bit from painting and focusing a bit more on anatomy and proportion to help make you figures even more believable. Keep it going!

Not much today, just some hand studies and another little bridgeman thingy and a rough sketch of my next prismacolor project I'm working on for my art show.

Nice work at 17 mate. But i think it would be a great benefit to you if you did some life drawing, or some really quick figure drawing using graphite or Charcoal. Your digital work is defiantly improving however u might be focusing too much on rendering and painting rather than laying done an accurate figure that is believable and is dynamic. Those last 5 figures are good. Keep working at it.

Good stuff in here definitely. you seem to have a good eye for colors and lighting situation! I highly suggest you settle down and do some anatomy and gestural studies. Getting the foundations down will improve your work more noticeably then technique will. Just a suggestion c:

Couple commission jobs I did for www.eidolon.me and a piece I'm doing for an IFX challenge.

I realize I'm going very far into details first, I don't really have any explanation for that :p I just did

Really nice stuff and impressive improvement.

One criticism: You have some great studies of hands, arms, shoulders etc, but they don't seem to get through to your serious work. You have to make the study cound and apply it. But it's easy to lose sight of the boring hand study when we're sketching an exciting X-men scene, I know
