    Sketchbook

    Hello all,
I have been quite impressed with a lot of the sketch-work shown here and thought it was about time I stop lurking around the forums without posting.

I have been attending a few different art schools and will hopefully be moving to New York soon to continue schooling there, for now however I'm Scandinavian located.

Anyhow here are some of my sketches - admittedly some more polished than others, feedback is naturally appreciated.

Really love the way you handle colored pencil, especially on that toned paper. Keep up the good work!

    Update

It's been a while since I have been on here. Here is a little update of some of my newer pieces.

I've recently started art school again and therefore most drawing I produce at the moment is your typical art school practices, that I don't really find worthwhile to post here. It's my hope those practices will eventually push a lot of development into my personal pieces and make them a lot less stiff.

    School Studies

I have been attending the art school Pratt Institute in New York City since September. I thought I'd share some of my school studies here. I have to admit I don't much consider them representational of my personal work.

    School Studies, II

I just finished my foundation year at Pratt Institute. Here are an update to some of our school studies. I am aware studies are not near as flashy as finished art but they are an important part to eventually getting that finished image

The first image is from my final drawing class review to receive my final grade.

Wow, I really admire you storybookish style. It's got a retro sort of charm.

Nothing fantastic, just a little new sketch.

Also James' Gurney has posted the results of his Envelope Competition. I wrote a blog post on what I was so lucky as to receive: James Gurney - An Inspiration

Several different. Some drawings are pencil, others are colored pencil, other again are water colors, some are ink wash and some are digital. I like trying out different materials

I'm glad you like my sketchbook.

Cool fantasy work, gotta agree about the last halloween pixie, it's great! Looks like big pumpkin is being a bit cheeky though The faces and figures in this most recent update are a big step up from what you posting earlier.

Keep up to good work, hope to see more soon!
