How much do you tip models?

I was wondering if there was any particular etiquette on how much you tip a model at an open life drawing session. Personally, I normally put in a dollar, perhaps two or three if it's an extraordinary model, but I know some people put in a fair bit more than that.

    $5 per person.

But it feels kinda creepy tipping the lady who posed naked for you just 5 minutes ago. I should have gotten over it, but just haven't yet.

    Makes no sense, really.

...depends where you're putting that dollar?

In all seriousness, I don't know I mean you could go with what you're comfortable with. Some put in more because they have more to give. But if you do the Waiter percentages like 15-20% off the price of a session cost, maybe that will help?

    beat me to it...
just make sure you hold them firmly without squeezing too much.
Some of them try to wriggle away..( I guess it means they dont like art), but
putting on an emo face usually gets them cooperating again..

This is turning into the art school version of Deliverance so...

In all seriousness I've never heard of the act of tipping nude models. To be fair we did only get models in our last year and all of us were new to the idea. It does sound somewhat creepy... it's bad enough that the class shmoozer scared away our only female model by hitting on her (during her first time modeling, no less) giving her or anyone else money for being naked would probably be a little much for our brains to tackle ;P

Where I go, the model get a minimum and a cut of the takings. Like Jason, I've never heard of tipping the model.
