    Verehin: Thank you!

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys! I took a break from drawing, because of the block and I'm getting back to the groove of things. This is for the DSG. I'll post my weekly figure drawings later.

I think your characters are pretty expressive themselves, also your line quality and anatomy are looking good.
    Looking foward for more

Gaah, worst art block ever. Couldn't even draw for more than 5 minutes.

Tried something different and sketched out some cars! Way out of my comfort zone but I had tons of fun with them.

Beautiful toons, as always. I love the freedom you show in your lines. I'm way too up tight to get that kind of flow in my designs.

For figure drawing The force books are similar to your style- very smooth and flowing. a couple of my classmates only made it through life drawing because they found it really helped them figure it all out.
On the other hand it might help your figure studies if you try to force yourself away from your comfort zone. Try some bridgeman studies- his work is very blocky and direct.

My life drawing teachers weren't very open to stylizing our work >.< - I hope yours are more open minded!!!
Happy sketching!! Glad to see your breaking through that block of yours

    {Sometimes I can't say anything new but I can't be silent, the impact is so big}
Whenever I look at your cartoony works, I think "FLOW", in capitals. You have plenty of it. Lovely flow and nice ideas, mmm.
I love your coyote (with twirly mouth corner) and the last bird the most from this page. And these extremely funny face expressions never cease to entertain me.

Rhubix: Thank you so much! I'm currently studying one of the force books! They've been very helpful, so I'll continue to study. I'll definitely look into the bridgeman books. I remember doing those a year ago. So far, my teacher hasn't been uptight about stylizing our figures...but I'm probably the only one in my class who tries to stylize a bit. A lot of my classmates go for the more traditional approach.
shiNIN: Wow! Thank you so much for the kind words! They really mean a lot!

    Slowly conquering the art block...

I like your style, It reminds me of a Nickelodeon show.. like invador zim mixed with some disney gestures and upa, perhaps ren stimpy. Really cool stuff.

Immortal Cintiq: Wow! Never got that combination before. Thank you!

More figures. I usually use an easel when drawing these figures because of how much you can move your arm, but I decided to sit on those horse easel like things..? I felt more comfortable sitting down as opposed to standing for 3 and half hours. I might sit more often.

We finally used our colored papers to try out the cross-hatching technique. I was being a rebel and used bright red...haha. I really like the colored paper technique and hope to do it again next week!

    Really lively sketches like usual

Make sure you pay attention to perspective when you're doing the life drawings, some of the stools and chairs are looking off.
