I was really diggin and fell in love with this piece that EDMUND LIANG painted and i wanted to study his style thus i made this copy painting of his original work...This is how my study looks. I gotta admit i learned allot just by copying his work.

    Original work

    Nice stuff, keep working hard.
When you're posting click "go advanced" and use the attachment manager, don't use imageshack.

morning sketch..same technique as above, dry acrylic. There are few anatomical mistakes that i made in this sketch. Going to adjust it once i do the digital sketch. I don't know if i should have altered the scan, with the color and everything. As much as i fix it up with photoshop the scanner still doesn't do justice when it's compare with the sketch in my sketchbook.

On the newest one, the arms are looking disproportionate. On the stage right arm, the upper arm looks way bigger than his lower arm, and actually vice versa for the other arm. I think when you started doing the digital, you also shrunk the head a bit, and in my opinion it now looks too small. Might just be though.

    Keep up the work man!

Your absolutely right about the arms, and i'm well aware of these issues but thx for pointing them out others point of view is always good! I'm going to adjust it thru the process as i go, i might also have streched them out a bit to much in photoshop when i wanted to scale down my picture. Yes the head did got shrunk lol, but it's kool i'm gonna paint it over anyway thus it's not big of an issue. But appreciated for comin thru

Really dig your sense of color, and cartoony style. Something I've been experimenting on, but no dice so far. Great environments too. Keep it up sir.
