Wonderful sketches. I really like that most of your faces show believable expressions (that lady reading the book really looks concentrated and the girl with the speech bubble really looks totally sad. Very well captured!)

your work is pretty awesome (looking in your old sketchbook too) =D
i saw your entry in the creature of the week and i was wondering what tips you could give me on like getting that cleaner look you have to you work. Your work shows alot of understanding of lighting most things which makes your work like easy to see, and i was wondering if you could point me in the right direction.Portfolio
YOUR AWESOME! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Frank Gressie: thanks mate!
Here's a piece i worked longer on then my usual stuff, just to trying to push my color skills. Another goal was to put in alot of details to see. I used sketchup to make a start, as sort of an experiment. I think i won;t use it again because its alot faster to make a line drawing. For a next painting i will also not do black and white first because its a pain to add colors to a black and white painting. Its also not very usefull because a b&w painting misses all the contrasts you can get with color. anyway, i added a step by step so you guys can follow my big clumsy workflow for this painting. Im not super happy with the end result but it makes up for the fact i learned alot. I am very happy how the left below area turned out.
last piece is something i did for a friend, he;s making a game based of a frysian folklore called grutte pier.
