Here's some cafe drawings from sunday!
I'll admit I spent more time looking at the people than I did drawing hahaha.
    Cheers.

Thanks Velocity Kendall I appreciate it.
Your works are so epic and have massive scale to them.

I totally missed, in my last post, that I forgot to actually upload more pictures.
In any case, here are the drawings I forgot to post yesterday!
more to come in a few!!!

Jeff man, keep up the great work. I am loving the new animalistic ones. I Love how you can throw so much character into just a single drawing. I take one look at one of them and I can already tell so much about them, just from the level of detail..

Keep it up bud! I visit this site everysingle day

Awesome, awesome depth within your paintings. Really feels like you're there. Your color choices for your paintings are really great and I love your creature designs. Great use of detail as well. Keep it up!

I dig the pencil sketches, maybe approach the digital work in a similar, more loose way, see what happens!

    Keep it up.

The_Flying_Dutchman: Thanks dude! Thats actually not a bad idea. I usually approach painting in a completely different way than i draw. Im gonna try that next time.

Hi all, here is a painting from a photo. I'm trying to get a better grasp on realistic colours. I felt I learned a lot from just this one painting. More to come in the not to far off future.

Flying Dutchman: I kinda loosened up for this sketch as well, if you check back here, let me know if you feel this is a good path.

    Cheers, and enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by my SB. Browsed through yours, and I am really enjoying your creations, especially the fictional ones. You have any tips for a newcomer such as myself to progress quicker in traditional art? So far I have been mostly doing studies in monochrome, but I would like to eventually do some fictional works from imagination. I am planning on starting to put in about 6 hours of traditional art and 4 to 5 hours of 3D modeling daily. My 3D is progressing steadily, but my traditional is lagging far behind and I would like to change that.

    BlueHabitThanks for the comment.
I would say to draw as much as possible, and whenever possible. If you dont already carry around. with you, a sketchbook and pencil, do it. You never know when you might be waiting for a few minutes and are bored. Fill that time with drawing or something.
You never know, there might be a cool piece of architecture that you like, sit down and draw it for a little bit.
I will admit, I dont draw as much as I would like to these days, but i am hoping to slowly change that. I make a point to go out and draw people every sunday at the mall, and i want to do more stuff like that from now on.
Doing studies really helps too, although I, again admit, I find it hard to stick to doing that.

hmm, maybe I should do more of the things I say other people should do.
    Thanks again for stopping by.
