    9 months? what the fuck.
Your colors are pretty accurate, and I definitely learned something from your marker sketches on the early pages.
    My mind is fucking blown.

    Guts

takashmen: Thanks man, that's just the way things have turned out as well, I wasn't even attempting such a style.
Kungfoowiz: As always dude, thanks for stopping in. Check out the Zorn study below.
jedininjaman: I wrote that about a year ago now, so it's a bit old, but thanks all the same man. appreciated.

My latest on a Zorn study.

I should have stepped back more often - look at the size of those hands haha. I'll fix them up later.

Hey bro, Zorn study is great, careful of red sometimes, especially when it's dark or doesn't have much saturation, it's like a muted brown, confuses me lots too =) Good luck with your next piece =)

Cheers Kungfoo, I felt like drawing a car, so I did. Getting into using things called values now. Interesting stuff.

Very good bro =) Looking forward to see where you go with your value studies, I also like how you are combining your sketch book drawings and then painting over them for other studies, that's a very nice idea =) Have fun with your next study =)

Actually, it's all Photoshop; I was bored of painting on blank canvas so I scanned in an empty page and now that's my template for sketching - more like an actual sketchbook.

Good stuff! I like the sharp edges and strong lines. It shows skill to be able to convey complex forms with only a few simple lines. I find I overwork everything, too much dwelling on minor details and hatching everywhere and going over the same line eighteen times, etc.
    Never stop skutching!!

did it cause I want to

    Kungfoowiz: sharing is caring.
Sealegs: ah, the wonders of computers - thought, if you press veery lightly with some inkers im sure you'll get close. Cheers man.
isokarhu: well, you're halfway toward having better lines; identifying why you're lines need more work is the ticket, now you just got to nut out your subject and get to know it then you'll start placing fewer, and better lines. Never stop skutching!

Mind spews from tonight. Was doing posemaniacs and went tangent. I'm enjoying using values only, that master study might have to wait.
