wow amazing! and never heard of 3d modeling inspiring one to start drawing, guess cause all the 3d modelers I know started with drawing first, although watching my lover always modeling characters and improving inspires me to draw more. crazy good sketchbook! I need to get better!

    around the bays

yongs: Thanks man, I would like to do some finished pieces as well, but I'm just not committed enough yet.

ji-li: Thanks very much. It is seriously good help if you have people around you into the same stuff - use that.

Some life drawing bits. Bit of a shoddy session this - must start wearing my glasses

Cheers Kungfoo. The next battle is a finished piece which I have ever only done one and it was a copy. I start a piece, find i need to do some research/studies and then never come back. I know it's the next thing to conquer as it's the thing I am resisting the most. Cheers for stopping by and leaving some words. Here's to the next piece...

Your lines are so clean and precise... yet so fluid? I'm not sure how you do it. It's magical-- your work, and especially your studies, are inspiring. Thanks for that.

Nice line weight in your digital sketches. I think it is both cool and funny that your digitally sketch on a scanned sketchbook. I love it.

not to mention that I appreciate the effort you are putting into trying to really leanr and understand the human figure. I don't really have any crits except for keep it up.

    good luck,
    -e

    whiskey ginger and ice

    Kungfoowiz: Cheers foo.
GypsySwan,Thyname MattSterbenz - cheers for taking the time to crit. I cheat a bit with the lines a bit, using the 'smoothing' brush option - makes it less like drawing on glass with a biro.

heres some more dittys. trying to crank out one screen cap a day now.

The minimal line study here is quite good. That's a good approach, IMO; gets you thinking about structure quickly.
