    you sure keep yourself busy!
The clown girl was real cool!! the lion and native girl in 293 had pretty good rendering, 298 had some good stuff- the figures and faces look nice/heavy/solid or well, "real" i guess... something i struggle with ^^

    more complete drawings plz ^^

Yeah try to attend a figure drawing session! I signed up for a couple at the start of this year but the teacher only allowed us to do quick 1-minute gesture studies.

But they're good for helping you realize how much and where you need to improve in a pinch. For me, they made it pretty clear that I have proportion issues and that I'm a million times more comfortable drawing females than males. It's different when there's a person standing in front of you, I guess.

Krysjez: Yes, Definently itshing to do them life studies, regardless of the fact I deeply question the intentions of the life models themselves (I suppose it's a good job for streakers/flashers/nudists xD)

hücumkedi: Thank's mate! I need to start practicing bodies more now.

Sharon: Thank you for the kind comment mate!

Speaking of more art... It's still a WIP so only flat colours but hey- It'll look better once I'm finished(I hope) I've been having a terrible time of it with her chin/lips, they're at an odd angle in the reff. My fault for not trying hard enough I guess. xD

Awesome wip - her eyes are just gorgeous. The lips look a little high but otherwise I think the lips/chin looks great. Just keep at it and I'm sure you'll get there

    Ah, you lot are brilliant!
Lang: Thank you! I'm hoping I can make it look nice and vibrant once I'm done
Equilerex: Glad you like the eyes mate!- and thanks for the nice comment.
Dierat: Ah! That's it! I just couldn't put my finger on what exactly I was getting wrong, thankfully I'm using 'guache' (or whatever it was) So I believe I can fix it!

    I highly doubt it XDDDD!
Oh hope you can go there and see it (I belive you need a dev acc to see it).
It's a very old manga page from my sister. I belive that's how a artist would behave in front of a flasher XD lol, I would probably.

    HELLO, HELLO
Klaus: You'll be happy to know I've signed up for life drawing, I have yet to know how I'll actually get there, but hey. xD
    Tso: Thanks mate!

    Anyways!
Finally had the opportunity to steal some batteries for my camera and thus I have a moderately large update.
First off, I finished the chinese woman, but I cocked it up fairly baddly.

    As you can see yourself.

Well, I finished the clown off too.

And here are some new things

And finally, this is a birthday gift for a friend of mine. She asked for something involving Tony Hadley and Ryan Stiles. She never mentioned in so many words what she wanted them to be doing/wearing, so of course the natural thing to do was paint them riding a flying unicorn.

first off ill say that the birthday gift is the coolest thing i've ever seen.

i think you would benefit from some studies of the figure and faces in different lighting so you can apply what you learn to your illustrations. in the most recent one you posted they both look quite flat because i looks as though they are illuminated from the front.

aside from that the piece looks great and i love the warm autumnal vibe in the background and lighting. the clown piece in pencil looks soo good.

i think the geisha painting would look better if u make the upper lip fuller... so it wont be much of a fail! have u tried watercoloring in black and white? i mean in grayscale? i think it would help in watercolors in understanding values... try checking out some of charles reid paintings~ he's great! currently my inspiration. one of his books about portraits is downloadable forgot where to download just google it!~ nice birthday gift.. (how did u reach page11 in ur SB!? )

i think the geisha isnt that bad, played around a bit in photoshop and it could help a lot if you shaded the lower jaw and chin area. Right now its completely empty with one very strong line that will catch a lot of attention when you look at it. if you add dark shadows to the jaw it will balance out the illusion from the facepaint line and should make it a bit better.

otherwise, the clown still looks awesome... my fav so far
and the other sketches and paints are good to.. they have your "thing" in them

Good god, I've been such a lazy sod lately.
I think it might be that I've got a bit of 'art block' (I'm trying to use that phrase less, since I might fall into the trap of using it as an excuse) But rest assured I will be doing more anatomy practices...Well, no I was planning on doing some shading/expressions/dynamic poses/face proportions stuff until I can get myself back into the game again.

Anyways! Replies! (Sorry I leave this so long)
Lang: Thanks mate! Hopefully I'll have some better stuff up sooner or later. xD

Mary: You should have seen the look on her face as I handed it to her, she expected the worst- but even then she didn't expect THAT! Aha! I'm always one step ahead of her.

Miycko: Thank you very much! Experimenting isn't something that comes naturally to me, so I'm happy with myself you think I am-

Raffix: Thanks mate! And you're spot on, every nower then I seem to get through a lazy face and everything turns flat again. >:C But I'm doing some face practice today so hopefully I'll clear this boundary eventually. xD

Puffy: Hey mate! Long time no see... Ah! I should have noticed her top lip wasn't very full. Watercolours in black and white? You know... I haven't done that in ages- but it definently would help me out! Thanks mate.

Milad: Thank you! I always have fun with expressions. xD

Bethany: Goodness! Thank you very much, I hope I don't dissapoint!

Equilerex: Yet again I have to thank you for the constructive crits! I didn't even notice I hadn't shaded her chin propperly. Shaded her nose entirely wrong too, and the whole left side of her face is entirely wrong. I gave up on it a while ago, hoping to try again some time with acrylics or something- to show I'm experimenting. :/

Now then, I didn't come here empty handed. I've got some doodles I've done in school. Not much in the way of decent pictures, I hope you'll forgive me xD

The girl on the right- I have no idea what in the world she's wearing and I can assure you I already know how impracticaly she's dressed xD

Rapier handle was drawn from reff.

Oh! I'll tell you what, I also found some old characters I made up when I was fifteen...And never, ever used.
    Here's two of them.

    LOOK AT THEIR ARMS
    LOOK AT THEIR FUCKING ARMS
IT'S LIKE I DID A COLLAB WITH A THREE YEAR OLD
    ...
    Anyways
I think I might revive them, I could still quite easily re-work their plot and appearances. xD

    Rapier handle looks wicked.

Also, d'aww at the '15 year old' art. I love seeing people's old arts, it's kind of nostalgic. You should re-do it for comparison purposes

hücumkedi: I could definently say the same for you!

Mary-Cherry: The Rapier itself was so awesome D: It's a shame people use them in such a foppish fashion xD
And my god, I love finding stuff I did at fifteen, I had some crazy year long rush of ideas. The year before that though- it was all KAWAIII DESU ZELDA FANAAAAAART!!!1
Working on doing a redraw of them soon.
Got a little sidetracked and now I'm drawing a comic xD

Back again. Been drawing a comic, I don't know how long for...

Didn't put any thought into it, but I might finish it and fix up the bad composition/perspective.
I've just noticed the only comics I've put up here are either macabre or depressing.

Edit: Well, would you look at that! It seems it was /too/ violent for photobucket!
Though, I don't really see why. There was no actual action, maybe it's because I hadnt finished drawng clothes on the last panel...
