ArjunaAle - LauraJean --- Book o' Pictures
I've been told a lot to join this joint by a number of different folks. I thought tonight is as good a night as any, so here I am! (also there is no one online to talk to and I'm bored)
I'm a rather lazy little lady though, so no surprises if I drop off the face of the Planet in a few days. However if I do choose to stop myself from my own self loathing and unfortunate lapses of video game addiction I'll try to update at least a few times a week. Shit happens.
Tips would be RAD!
Now time for some work, huh?

really liking the concept behind the owls and the girl sketch.
you have real talent for drawing girls eh? I would recommend you practice more on proportions and relationship of parts to one another a.k.a how anatomy works.
keep up the nice drawings hope to see more updates

Silly little sketch done today.

A painting that has been lying around for far too long now. Started working a little bit on it today and I feel I finally have some kind of direction with it. Still a lot of issues; the main figure = !
It is just the under painting though.

Really nice variety and a lot of creativity!
Maybe take some time to slow down and find some references for anatomy before you go really crazy on a complete piece, like your digital one with the lady in armor. It's a lot easier to make sure you get things right in your initial stages then to put a lot of time and effort into something only to finish and realize your proportions are off!

Thanks heaps Amarok!
It's true, I rushed far to quickly into that pic. Short attention span!

So apparently I like to draw worried ladies...

Nice stylization, your figures look so pithy I feel like I could pinch 'em! One thing you may want to consider is emphasis, sometimes your paintings are flipping out so hard that I don't know where to look. Some artist are quite good at picking out what areas need to be played up/ simplified.. still trying to follow my own advice on that one. Lovely SB, keep up the good work!

I love your glowing tree monster!

Man the drawing with the mexican and the bat is beautiful. I especially like the hands! Also, the tree monster reminds me of the Shadow of the Collossus! Keep it up!

you are good at painting already.. i guess you need to work on anatomy .. try practicing more from anatomy books like bridgeman, andrew loomis or dynamic figure drawings . it will help. and why dont you make a guy for a change lol.

@turbos - Thanks!
@knut- - Haha, that picture gets that a lot. I call it my "some kind of weird mixture of watching too much Miyazaki films and playing too much Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" however.
@sin eater - Thanks. I have a bunch of books I should probably read. I'm terribly bad at holding my attention on one thing for too long though. I promise I'll draw dudes next time (this post not included)!
First picture is a piece for my website and the second is for fun.
