    A Beginner's Sketchbook

I'll be posting in this sketchbook to record my meager progress. I know I am nowhere near as good as many other artists on this site but please stick with me and hopefully I'll create something decent.

braver than me, I've only started recently myself and have been avoiding human figures at all costs, but I gotta do 'em sometime I guess. Good work, keep it up!

P.S. Check out Mine as well please!

Here's something I did with a reference long ago that I never completed.

Is this from the structure of man series?
I love that, and I also love the eyes on that first post.
Keep up the good work, you're off to a great start

If they give you ruled paper, write the other way.

Yeah, I've been following the series step by step and going along with him. Figured I'd try to finish the series to try to expand my knowledge of the human form. I'll try to post some more sketches soon but right now I am still trying to learn to draw the human form from my mind. Also, if anyone can help me find nudes with a woman with a sword and some armor for women references, that would be spectacular.

I went and looked at that WIP you gave the link for. That has soooo much potential: it's agreat angle, and great rendering so far. Do NOT give up on it! It's digital- you can always go back. Even if you make mistakes, you will lears in the process, so keep at it. I look forward to seeing the conclusion of that one. It will be awesome, but you have to complete it! Keep going!

The problem is that I no longer have the file in which to work on it with.

No prob! You still have the Image, and it's right here on the servers. Right click, save target as, and download it to your computer. You might not have the file, but you can build off the picture you have so far. All is not lost! You might lose some of the resolution initially, but you can still do wonders with it. Ahhhhh, the magic of the digital age. I hope this helps, and I hope you do carry on with it!

It won't work for me. It saves a file called "attachment" but I cannot open the file. Sorry, but what's done is done.
