Sooooooo... The show went well I think. One of the teachers was raving about it being the best school of rock show he's ever seen, so that means good, I guess.

The first show was really sloppy. I fucked up at least 2 songs. I also exhausted basically all of my energy. Weirdly it also felt like it went on FOREVER... I guess I was just restless. After the show I was EXHAUSTED, argh.

So then me and the rest of the "band" went out and got some lunch at a place next door. I had a conversation with one of the teachers about Joy Division and the next thing I know, my head is in the fucking toilet and I'm vomiting my guts out... I got food poisoning! I thought that I wouldn't be able to perform...

But I did. And it was tight, I think. The band was better, and the songs I fucked up previously, I didn't this show. The crowd was more or less substantial. There were way more people than the Lolapolluza show (other SoR show.)

I tried to record the webcast but it seems my computer crapped out and the recording didn't work. There's audio of the show on the DNA Lounge archive. http://cerebrum.dnalounge.com/archive/ Some of the mix is REALLY poor, btw, and depending on the song some versions (firs/second show) might be better than others. YouTube is coming soon...

p.s. Did anyone here go to this?
