    It`s because grayscale simplifies values, that is all ^_^ Practice off of the masters and read. I still have yet to really touch on color theory. Kind of scared to. XD

    @anjyil yeah i guess

    the first one i was trying to do something like in this video ,by randis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzXxM...eature=related
    but again he do stuff that seems simple and even may be actually simple but i just don't really get wtf hes doing most of the time(the first one is the one i actually just finished :B)

    the second one is probably going nowhere, i just don't get how they get the colours they want by using "colour" or "multiply" layer i just get retarded tones that makes no sense, not that i really know what would make sense D:

    the answers to the questions i have are somwhere on the internet i just don't even know how to ask

    I can`t even figure out where "multiply" is on my PSE. It`s all in Japanese and I haven`T found good screen shots showing it. Still, it is a basic sketching and rendering that you would probably do on paper as well. Mostly it takes practice. I do something similar, but I am no where NEAR his level ^_^;

    Photoshop? Why would I want to spend 400 + dollars that I don`t have on something when I was able to get the part of it for free with my WACOM? I don`t even use most of the featuers on PSE

    I say play with the piece a bit more, but add more highlights and darker shadows to make it dramatic. How many light sources are there? Is it just the one by the finger? Is there another one off to the viewer`s right? Play with the lighting. I think it will help a lot.

    Hello
    Good work you're showing here. The last sketch is nice, but there seems to be a problem with the arm holding the gun. The hand looks kinda... inverted. I think it might have something to do with the lengh of the fingers. I can't really tell since I have the hardest time with drawing hands myself... Other than that, I like it. Just do studies of hands from reference and you'll get to be pretty awesome
    Have fun now

    When in doubt, run and shout.

    Ugh, that and leauge of legends, Im so addicted its not even cool anymore! You seen that minecraft fail where he trys to make an infinate fire in his house and it catches the bookshelf, burning the house to the ground? Man that was good!

    Now onto the art, from that last chow i'd say your rendering is pretty good its very clear and quite clean. As for the ninja, the movement is alot different from whats going on (guy getting slashed). The main thing is the feet, in comparison to the top body, how the feet are placed shows alot about movement, where theyve been before and the weight on what foot. So maybe a bit of study into that area will help. When doing things like this scene I always try to reenact the motion/pose and see where my bodyparts end up.
    Still! Good improvment from the starting point, keep it up man.

    @Nonobot don't tell me more game names D:!!!
    and hnm... i don't think so ...he just got his throat slashed and is falling to his knees i don't see how that moviment is totally diferen't from whats going on ,but yeah i don't think its fully readable anyway

    and here is megaman ,sort of ...the idea was to draw it without actually looking at any megaman referece.i also wanted to do one of those adultish megaman designs people do around sinse ever!

    not bad, coming along really nicely. what i really appreciate here is the attention spent on the hands and feet, very expressive. keep working on them to achieve more accuracy (the most recent post, everything is great aside from her right foot (our left), it looks really stumpy and thick.
    your faces have improved even since may as well. pay a little more attention to your overlapping shapes, for example the most recent drawing with the fire lady, her left arm (our right) doesn't read that well in the elbow area, the forearm muscle would overlap the bicep more.

    i like how this is coming along though, adding this sketchbook to my subscriptions for sure!

    Cool! Love the values in the last piece!
    I just noticed something though... You have a tendency to make feet a bit short and stubby. It might just be a stylistic choice in which case, feel free to ignore this
    Other than that- cool work! You might want to try working with a little more contrast in the values though. On the last piece you could darken the whole torso so that it goes back in space and you could gradually darken the left leg (our right) from top to bottom so that it recedes into the background as well.
    Good luck and keep up the good work!

    When in doubt, run and shout.

    @Windmaker

    yeah the feets ar part of the style i like em looking like that ,but i'll try to get some sexily drew feets later also ,gotta be able to vary if it fits more with the character !
    and yeah i though about darkening the spots you said...i was going to shade her belly and use white gradient on the feet to make it fade away ,but i was too lazy D:

    something i worked on for a friend to colour...
    the lines are ready for him to colour i guess (gotta clean up digitaly a lil due to i'm still get graphite all over the paper when the line work is complicaded)
    but i'll work some more pencils on it and make it fancy

    had neverd drew both characters mshould have done it before at least once for each one
