    Concept art for a novel-in-progress

Right now, I am writing a novel with an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh for a heroine. The heroine wants to avenge her father's death by going after the bandits who mortally wounded them...but the bandits are just the beginning. Right now, I have over 10,000 words written and 7 chapters completed.

Here is some concept art of the novel's main characters. I will admit that none of it is very good in my opinion, but I hope it gets the concepts across (which is what concept art is supposed to do, isn't it?).

    1) Body view of the heroine, an Egyptian Pharaoh named Sekhmethotep
    2) Facial portraits of the heroine
    3) Body view of Cleon, an Athenian Greek general who allies and falls in love with the heroine

One more piece of concept art, this one depicting Sekhmethotep's father Khenti:

poor elephant... simple sketches, but they do get the point across of what you're looking for, at least the important basics anyways
