Life Masks: Please Critique the Pencil Technique :)
These are the six basic expressions from Gary Faigin's great book on the subject: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, Surprise, and Anger. It's pretty much done, but I'd love to get advice on how to smooth out the pencil, especially on the faces. I did them without any smudging as an exercise - I wanted them to be crisp against the background wall. How would you improve it?
Thanks -- Scott McD.

Thanks - I quite like Magritte. I wrote up an analysis of one of his paintings a while back: http://www.scottmcd.net/artanalysis/?p=115
