    Risan

Welcome to my sketchbook, my name is Steve, 21 years old and I live in Leipzig/Germany.
These drawings are mostly done with reference from either Reallife. or from Photos.
I would be very thankful for comments and critics!

Next bunch of stuff, nothing much to say, I still have a lot of work to do, if I want to improve.

    Have a nice day

Another update, I hope this sketchbook will stimulate me enough to post at least every two days, maybe even every day

The pictures are again mostly done with reference from photos, or real life.

Quick update for today, I was trying to do something free from ref (everything except the building and the screaming face in the first picture).
Everything in the second picture is done with ref from photos, since I have a new scanner, I hope it is easier to see my mistakes and flaws.

    bye

Another update for today, I have been trying to do some simple figures and a bit of the usual facestuff, almost everything done with reference from photos.
At some point I recognized that it is better to limit the number of lines and make them strong and strict.
I think a reason for my slow progress (if there is any) is the fact, that I use to much lines and overdo it totaly, keeping it simple is probably better for memorizing the basics.

If someone is wondering what "Risan" means, the german word for Journey is "Reise" and this word is derived from the old high german word "Risan" which means something like rise (like rise above or rising of the dead), enough german lesson, good night

So for today I was trying to go for the basics and unfortunately found out that I suck at them, that means that I will spam this threat with random pose drawings, hands, faces, value studys and whatever it takes for the next weeks.
    Have a nice day

Again more figure drawings after Loomis, I have a great time doing these because it's like every single stroke with the pencil is teaching me another thing, many mistake I do are becoming more and more obvious to me.

    Cheers

More studys, a bunch of manequin, of course after Loomis and in the first picture there are some things from imagination (the eye, the face and the ugly guy on the left side).

tourtu thanks for stopping bye, as the last pieces are drawn after Loomis, I think the compliment goes to him, but thanks anyway

More studys after Loomis technic, but these are done with help from Posemaniacs, so I am trying to use what I, hopefully, have learned so far.
    Have a nice day...

Hey folks, hope you enjoyed the saturday so far, some Loomis studys coming today, a bit of trying to free myself from the old struggling with references and few with help from Posemaniacs.
Greetings and have a nice weekend
