    portfolio question

    hi everybody...
    this summer ill start study on a artshool.
    and as usual i need to do a portfolio
    but i dont know how this portfolio should look like..
    i know what kind of works i will put in..
    but i dont know about the coverage. what kind of portfolio should it be?

    It can consist of "Figure Drawings, Figure Paintings, a Room Perspective Drawing(all of these should be from life!!!) also Still life Drawings and Paintings. You can also add about 2 or 3 pieces that reflect what you like to do and a compilation of sketches always makes a good piece.

    the name of the school is hfg (hochschule für gestaltung) university of design...
    its in offenbach/germany ..

    I usually go for the hard bound, ring-bound, plastic sleeve type. Usually all presented/mounted/printed on a uniform size of paper or board to make it look neat. Cover sheets per section add a bit of organization though not really required (I usually just present it)

    I know of some who go for the pocket-size portfolio, usually used to bring around conventions. You get your work printed on 3x5 photopaper and put them in those nice little photobooks that are sold in camera shops.
