I like the composition very much and find the drawing really good.
The skull drawing in your second post is my favorite

    Keep on going.

It is nice to see silver point drawings.

do you use gesso or gouache on the panels. I also saw that golden sells something that preps the board for silverpoint.

    Nice work.

Working on half tone paper with graphite and white can have a nice effect and save you some time.

    Thanks bjoern =)

    Msegal,
Yeah, silverpoint is awesome. I use gesso and the golden brand silverpoint ground. I use panel and paper as well. Working on toned paper is okay, but I prefer to add my own value from the start, so I don't need to use as much white in the end. Thanks for the comments =)

Oil sketch in my sketchbook- all done in one layer. (self-portrait)

I posted this in the life painting thread as well, but it's a study so here it is- A brick. This was a lot harder than I thought it would be to paint. Fun stuff, learned a lot from it. Oils in my sketchbook.

Nice works!.. There are some proportion issue with ur faces. Some of the features are not lining up in perspective. Watch out for them.

I like the silverpoint works best. I never done it and frankly don't know much about it. How is it done? And that humble brick is awesome too!

    Thanks JS

The perspective is something I'm getting used to more often now. I've changed up the way I draw and lay things out and it's coming to me a lot easier. Silverpoint is done with silver on prepared paper or panel. I'm not going to go into it too much here because I'm a bit tired at the moment, but here's a website that gives some info on it. (If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them)

You have a great progress in the sketches! I love the last self-portrait and the last drawings are nice, but I think the standing woman has a short legs. Keep it up!
