    Feedback on Lifedrawing Please

    Hi Guys,
I'm currently in school to become an animator and I could use all the help and feedback on my lifedrawings I can get!
    Thanks!

Hi - welcome to CA! I would say just keep at it. As far as specifics critique - the first one has some great dynamic gesture of course - but may be pusehed just a little too far with that right leg. Once you get to the point in exagerating the pose that the pose looks broken it no longer works. The hands aren't bad - a little stiff and the pinky finger on bottom two looks too small - almost deformed or crippled.

To be honest though - these are minor observations/crits that don't matter too much because you are going to do so many drawings and learn so much as you study animation. Keep it up!
    What would Caravaggio do?

    Randi,

I really love your shading style. Watch the first drawing, I like the way you pushed the pose, but watch out anatomy wise because if it goes to far the viewer can not relate. Love the hands and the light study. Watch out though with legs because I feel like they are a bit too big. Maybe start drawing off with basic shapes. Cylinder, cube? Other than that i agree, observations/crits that don't matter too much because we all are going to draw alot, keep it up hope to see more art.

Nice life drawings and hand gestures. Maybe you should do faster and quicker gestures to get a better feel for the body and get more sketches in.
