All as far as technical execution are excellent. Again, I can appreciate the evolution of the way you paint. The first Magic the Gathing piece I love in particular as you mimiced the texture of paint so well. All are nice to look at though, thanks for sharing J.
what a slacker! is this what you do nights and weekends? lol you need to really step up your output. there are still pictures being painted that you didnt do loving the bookcovers man. cool to see you posting all this stuff!
so i got a riddle for you...
Q: whats hairy, jewey and loves you dearly?
These are all ungodly. Amazing work as usual Jason. How long do these finished pieces usually take you?

Oh good Lord.....Chan, you the man. Hard to believe that your could get better, but these Wonders show it. Really raised the bar in terms of your work i think.
The Magic Card company should be ashamed, Its criminal to make these works so small as to fit on their cards.
im going to go back to gawking at the art.
Holy shit J, way to crank out some really amazing illustrations. Love the colors and the way the pixels vibrate. Also, seems that you are Wizards poster child as I see your work everywhere... a big congrats and no surprise when you keep turning out killer images.
Hope your Magic tour in Asia was fun and have a great time in Berlin. Looking forward to seeing the next batch of art,
Everything is awesome. From the first Silent Hill portrait to the last Wizards of the Coast image but those book covers are awe-awesome!!
Thanks for showing!
Fantastic Stuff Mr. Chan, thanks for sharing.
Now that's what i call an impressive post! I thought you were already at the peak of your skills, but the stuff in here, it's even bettter than any of your stuff i've seen before. I'm not saying that lightly, there's a depth and strength in these pieces that truly knocks my socks off. I hope you slack a lot more in updating and make much more work! Cheers!
beautiful! thanks for the inspiration Jason!
have a good one
sketchbook updated October 6th
Stunning update, it's so great to see new work from you. Thank you for posting.
Really, really great work. Kicking ass and taking names.
I mean, some of those images, a LOT of those images, I see all over the place. And I mean ALL over the place. Anytime someone mentions bioshock 2, those two big sister images are the first things that they will think of.
awesome awesome dump man! it's crazy to see how much quality output you have at work alone then to see you banging these out on your spare time and play all the latest games? Are you sure you're not hiding a twin somewhere around here? ; ) you're a real big inspiration on this side of the table brotha... no lies : )
much love mayne!

This is an astonishing body of work.
I feel like youve ascended to another level since your last update; there was always life and power in your work but these...these are a cut above.
I feel like I got suckerpunched in the balls looking at some of these, its like "..holy crap - he got better; the guy is at the top of his game and he got better."
I gotta ratchet my shit up some more now after looking at this stuff, Jason - I got butthurt by this post and I love that feeling - thanks for posting these!
All the best to you,
Looking gorgeous as always. I'm talking about you... turn around, I'm in your bedroom naked!
Nutso work bud. Hope life is well for ya.
I stare at dumps all the time and I have to say this is the most beautiful dump I have ever seen...wow
