@Vezun: Thanks! Could be better though ^_^
@Stonec: Thanks man. Yeah I did, but truth be told, I still haven't gotten around to it, going to somehow incorporate it into my daily routine, need to find out how though, so I'll get back to you on that!

This week has been pretty weak, but here it is:

I found the figure sketches of the man with an axe particularly engaging. A fantastic update!

@Toffeeliz: Thank you very much, glad you like it!

For the week I went mainly traditional with my still life. Lines! Also entered the D3 RoS competition and finally made a finished piece. It ended up being quite dark, will need to watch out more next time and perhaps come back to it at some point. Even though it was quite challenging it was quite a lot of fun!

Hey, thank you for the comment! You got a wonderful sketchbook. I'm also impressed by the huge amount of studies you're doing... it obviously pays off, I can see a strong improvement through the pages.

Hey i like your sketchbook, you are obviously working hard! I Like your militant and studious approach. Have a look at the Bridgeman book if you havent already - it opened my eyes when it comes to anatomy. good stuff.

    @StephenDraws: Thank you!
@Kimonas: Thank you! I had a look at it a couple of times but I return to it now and again, thanks for the tip though ^_^!

Seemed to have forgotten to post last week and I've been away for a couple of days, so this is a slight catch up. Some of the pics are from an iPad so sorry for the bad quality.

Hello! I just scrolled through your sketchbook, and you've had some amazing improvement between now and when you started! Especially in your anatomy and gesture skills. Your gestures are just gorgeous. But perhaps you could post more finished or even colored pieces? I'd love to see your skills from all your studies applied to more finished works!

@Lydiamay: Hello! And thank you, I'm actually working on something right now.

And this week. Successfully finished 100 days of still life challenge, was good stuff. The imaginary is a bard for a targeted pfolio.

Heeeeeey! It's been a while! I see the sheer volume of work you seem to so effortlessly deliver remains impressively enormous. Aaah all this art is a sight for sore eyes. I saw that bard up in post 220! Lovely render ^^

Hey there Niquey! It certainly has been a while. Haha thank you, but believe me, it's not as effortless as you might think, yet there is not enough and there never will be I think . And thank you! I have progressed on the bard a bit more and posting the update today.

So it seems yesterday I forgot to update the google document for the 100 days of anatomy LMS challenge (one has to post everything by a set time, which is 2am for me)...I'm sure I changed it though...damn you google doc together with my brain!! >< Anyway, because I believe I haven't actually failed I shall keep on posting at least on my sketchbook every day until I actually fail in my eyes. So here goes:

    Day 120
    Time 1h+

    Anatomy Day 122
    Time 1h+

Decided to do a bit of an imaginary fuller piece.

    Personal Project Day 1-5
    Time 30min-2h+ each

Started a new challenge a while ago so I might just post it all simultaneously. The goal with this one is to make a new piece every 10 days, a finished piece, in need of this. So here goes. First one is a piece referenced character Alain from the Paizo Pathfinder game.

You've been working very hard on your anatomy and figure drawing. Great stuff! I loved the bard character - will you colour it? (sorry if I didn't notice a post saying that you would).

In the most recent illustration - I would suggest moving the foreground characters back a wee bit to avoid the victim's head being cut off by the bleed border.

Sorry to have taken so long to come back here - you've been doing great stuff!

Yes! Can't wait to see your finished piece. I like that challenge. I wish I could be up for it. In fact, I think I may attempt it with some long standing projects o mine. Good luck to you. I like the value range so far

@CarmelW Heya, np at all. And thank you. I will definitely colour it, not just yet though. And thank you for the tip, I'll have a look at it again when I'm at it.

@Niquey Thank you! And I hope you will start it, it's a great push, can only recommend, hope it goes swell!

So I haven't posted for a while, but I kept on going, so here's the dump for the last two weeks or so. Also started a new anatomy challenge. Done day 3 now.

So it seems I haven't posted in a while again. Started a new 100day anatomy challenge and continuing painstakingly and zoomingly on the sorceress. Need to keep reminding myself that the max anyone would see it is at about 25%...
