    dump, sort of. +1 portrait.

    Hey there,
It's been a while. Currently migrating my website, therefor, most of the links from my previous dump are dead.
Anyway, it was chaotic and all. Let's start fresh !

    Personal works.

    New!! ROLLERGIRL

    EXIT

    SATELITES

    ZERO

    TANGERINE

    We Could Be Heroes

based on a photo by Akif Hakan Celebi , model Victoria Yun.

    and,

    BINAURAL (last in date btw...)

    Hope you'll enjoy.

BINAURAL is very nice. I could see this in Spectrum.
Are these done on the computer? They have a very "mixed media" feel.

    thanks for the feedback fellas.

Stevethomas. Yep, it's digital. I try not to just mimic traditional stuff, but combine them with... you know... pixels.

    Majora: thanks

Kan: Hi man. Thrilled to be in your favs !

Donalfall: I assume you're familiar with my stuff. Sweet !

Raoul Duke. You got it. A big part of the fun I can have comes from that (abstraction stuff).

Ikage. Been playing with low saturations for too long. Needed a change

    gousman: merci

Icedearth15876: Gee ! And I thought my pseudo was complicated. Thanks.

    Lewiston: noooo you don't :p

    Dekal. Thanks man.
I do use shitty (quality) tiny photos as a starting point.
Here's what I've used for Tangerine and Zero for exemple.

Liking the work as always. Tangerine is my favourite. Interesting the way you use photos as a kick off point and the way you internalise the things so that you produce something that feels alive.

Nice works! I like EXIT the most. And I cannot believe that they are digital, since they look
"real" so much, as painted :p

seriously awesome stuff, I was trying to backtrack and look at your older work, but most of it not available and even your site is showing a coming soon sign, so is there anywhere else I can view your art??
Exit seems to be my fav. even though its hard to choose one favorite here.

    Hi Folks.
I'd like to answer to any each of you but I'm hammered by work right now. I'll take care of it this weekend.

Bhanu, I'm migrating all my stuff and I should have a new website next month. In the meantime, it's on Flickr.

You're absolutely right. I found that one on a random search in google and didn't know who that was from. I just loved that chick's attitude.

Thanks for the link, I'll give credit to whom it belong to.
I have a few works like this one where you can easily identify the source, although it's not that literal either, meaning that I try to tell something else...

really beautiful work, strong design sense and simply wonderful work-up of texture and surface on the digital side. You have a wonderful way of slipping complementaries into the little places they want to be. My only non-positive comment would that be between all the earthy tones, I'd like to see some cold colours to punch them more. "Exit" and "Sattelite" do this nicely, the other I feel miss that extra punch. Just an observation, beautiful work!

EDIT: Just stopped by your flicker page. Ignore that last comment about the colours, everything there just proved me wrong. Astounding use of colour.
