Oren90: I like the pose of your Scarecrow. Looks close to being done other than maybe more detail. Your Dorthy looks a little thin, though,

Stoph: Not at all what I would think of when I think of the Scarecrow. He seems sad, but filled with a lot of personality.

Kittymeow84: The drawing looks great so far. I think it's missing something, though. Some psychedelic colours would look groovy in the background, man.

I'd like to comment on more but there are so many and I only have so much time. Great job everyone.

Here is what I have for my drawing so far. I'm not sure how far I'll be able to take this, but I've had fun this far.

While I work in Photoshop a lot I don't usually work in this fashion. With anything I just hope to learn from this experience and use it on my next drawing. Here's hoping I can finish!

It's not reading well, but it looks fine, it's supposed to be a similar gesture to this:

    WIZ wip

Here's my wip so far, I'm planning on adding in the tinman and scarecrow as well. I've already sketched out their designs, but they are in my sketchbook (and I have no scanner or camera). I wish I had started sooner...

I know I have very little time but I thought I'd carry on anyway. I really REALLY wasn't happy with dot. The more I looked at her, the more she didn't seem right. So I redrew her. I wont have time to finish Lion as well so I'm just going to put my everything into Dorothy and Toto.

AlyFel- LOVE this sketch, dorothy has tons of character and the detail is awesome. The lion is incredibly small in comparison especially if you consider Dorothy a child but they look so well together i wouldn't change it.
Pauscorpi- I think the midsection of your lion needs to be longer and he looks a little top heavy, but the emotion is great and the colors are coming along nicely
Clockwork Mouse- I like this face a lot better and I'm not sure if you changed the clothing but it seems to fit her better and she looks much more "planted" for lack of a better term. More grounded as far as foot placement. I think toto would look cuter if you put his front paws further up as if you were holding a tiny dog under his arms and imagine how they hang *shrug* just an idea.
Great work everyone, good to see so much participation this time!

MagicPrincess Thanks. Yeah I redrew her completely and I'm so much happier with it.

BTW This is Clockwork Mouse, I joined with that username 2 years ago and I really wasn't keen on it anymore.

Thank you, I know what you mean, but I started the sketch with the Cowardly Lion much bigger and it looked clumsy. Call it artistic license!

Phew. Made the deadline. I'm knackered!!!...

Decided that doing the tinman would have taken too long. So decided to go with the TOTO gun. Which i'm quite happy about tbh. Started to rush this a bit so theres a few dodgy bits. I'm happy with it for now though and I learnt quite a few new tricks. Which is what its all about.

Hope you like it and Good luck all. Bed time.....zzzzzz
