My -insert cool phrase here- Sketchbook

Hi there people! I'm a 21 years old Visual Communication Design student living in La Plata, Argentina. I've been drawing since I'm a kid self-taughting myself and practicing a lot, cause I love it
Most of my drawings are done in gray scale (never been a fan of traditional painting, and I'm quite bad at it), but since I started digital painting I've been more open to learning different methods and styles.
I'm kind of new to the site, and after lurking around for some time I thought about getting active and starting my own sketchbook, so here it is.
First I'll upload some of my "old" studies, random sketches and unfinished fan-arts I did from 2005 until now, and will try to keep updating periodically.
Hope you like them, any comments and/or critics are very much welcome.

Sorry if my english is bit rusty XD

Updating with some practice paintings using real life reference (stuff I find around my room )
And a few comic style sketches from this morning, have to practice more on anatomy and perspective.
So let me know what you think.

Hey man, thanks for commenting on my work.

Loving your linework on the drawings. For the paintings, I'd suggest trying to experiment with different sorts of edges - a lot of your digital stuff right now is very soft, and I think if you push up some really hard edges you can make things look even more solid.

bubblesaw - You're welcome, and thanks

redscraps - No problem man. I do use some soft brushes, and hard edge brushes with low opacity, I'll definitively try to use different types of brushes to get rid of those blurry edges. Thanks for your suggestion.

Here's some stuff I've done recently.
First a few body and face studies, and using real life reference for the arm anatomy. Then to the creative part, a giant humanoid roach creature , initial concept created in Alchemy and sketched in Photoshop, still not finished.
And finally a painting I did this morning.
Please feel free to comment or critique anything

Good start dude, nice variety of stuff going on.
Have one thing to look out for though - is with your painting. Light isn't always white the same way shadows aren't always black. Look for where highlights might be more saturated or of another different colour to give it some variety.

Good work nontheless - keep it up!
